So there are people at Trigger into Steven Universe? Cartoon Network should hit them up for some outsourcing, since Steven Universe could use good action animation. >_>

Raging Spaniard

If they are Dutch, upright and breathing they are more racist than your favorite player
Don't worry, there's zero possibility of that. The animators might turn into zombies though! That's never a nice status effect to have. :/

Yeeeah, I used to be in the business. Theres very good reasons why Im not anymore ;)

I think the premise of this show is really good (tanks vs dragons, fkn awesome!) but I fear it will become just standard harem bullshit very soon.

That's sad because conquering a magic medieval world was my favorite fantasy during my time in the army (well, that and killing some officers ofc).

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.

if you want good animation then you might want to ask a studio other than trigger

Silent girl felt like a Steven Universe character and I haven't even watched a full episode of that series.

Kiniro Mosiac

This was amazing. It's super cute; I mean.. it's like cute on cute on cute. The girls are so adorable, pretty and cute.

Kiniro Mosaic is an episodic based anime about 5 girls going through high school. It features two girls from England, Alice and Karen. Alice is totally adorable and could be an imouto. She's just the cutest and I want to hold her all day! Karen is also really cute having beautiful long blonde hair; she also speaks in broken Japanese which is just out of this world amazing. I've never heard broken Japanese in an anime like in Kiniro Mosaic and it's pulled off so well.

Both Alice and Karen also speak English (Engrish) and it's really really cute! I love listening to the seiyuu speak in English and it's never annoying for me.

Ahhhhh, don't you just want to hug her?!!?!?!?! <3

The other girls are Shinobu, she looks like an Asian doll that Alice has, and it's really funny. She also loves blonde girls and gets all lovey dovey with Alice and Karen; she also loves to wear cute outfits and cosplays in them!

Inokuma is a really pretty red head with a great personality. She's like the rock of the entire groups’ relationship, being level headed and capable of taking care of things. She's really fun and I love how she's animated with a little fang like tooth, showing how tomboyish she can be.

Aya is the last girl of the group, having cute twintails (love twintails) and a personality similar to Shinobu's when Shinobu thinks about Alice; that is... really lovey dovey, though Aya is extremely shy about confronting her feelings towards Inokuma.

I can't forget about the Karasuma-Sensei either, she's one the cutest sensei's in all of anime history; I'd compare her to the sensei from Yuyushiki (everyone calls the sensei in Yuyushiki "Mom"). Cute and adorable and really really fun!

All the girls are fantastic and Kiniro Mosaic is one of the best anime I have ever seen. There is no story, it's strictly a slice of life based anime that uses an episodic format for its episodes. The girls are always funny and insanely cute. If you can get past the English (Engrish) of the first episode, you'll fall in love with Kiniro Mosaic for sure.

The art style used is amazing and incredible. The colors are so light, but they're not exactly pastel (I don't think they are?). They just exude cuteness and huggable feelings when you watch. If you're ever down or want something really light hearted to pick you up or just make you feel good, give this a watch, it'll do it all!

The sounds and music in Kiniro Mosaic is a lot like its art style, it's cute, it's light hearted, it's a lot of fun and it makes you super happy to just listen to it all. I love the BGM because of how happy and fun it can sound, same reason why I adore the OP and ED, it's just a whole ton of happy good feelings.

Everything about Kiniro Mosaic is amazing, I love it 100% and it has shot up to Anime of the Forever for me (You can have more than one! I swear!). There are so many giffable moments; I'd honestly have 50 + gifs just from Kiniro Mosaic if I really bothered. The amount of cute and colorful scenes are off the charts, it'll probably overwhelm people if they're not used to this type of extra adorable content.

A lot of the episodes are really really good too, sure they use clichéd scenarios (high school folks), but cliché or not, I freaking love 'em. School festivals, celebrating holidays, summer break, it's all just a whole lot of fun. I loved seeing the Yuyushiki reference when the girls were looking at the magazines and you can see the three girls from Yuyushiki just there, enough to realize who they are, super nice touches like that are brilliant!

I'm so happy there is a 2nd season to watch and I really should check if there is a 3rd on the way, because there needs to be 3 for the girls to finish high school!

Be sure to watch Wakaba Girl this season!
This is my life mana!

Angry Grimace

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One turns to the other and says "does something taste funny to you?"
Kiniro Mosiac 2 - the English girls still can't speak English.

Wait, Super is just a TV remake of the movies?

For the first few episodes yes

I don't know if I should really be hyped for this knowing Toei.😌

Y'know, it actually looks pretty good. Still cautious, but more cautiously optimistic now.

One Piece 700 woo yay

SEVEN. HUNDRED. EPISODES. Good thing I've only seen like 2/5 of them because I read the manga instead! Oh and it's just a regular episode. Ok.

I think I actually forgot about the secret thing inside Marejois thing. I hardly even remember that.

One Piece had a few good episodes lately with actual animation. You should check out the last episode.

working!!! 01
absolute garbage returns and is somehow even less remarkable and entertaining than i remember.
little witch academia 2
just...really boring and insubstantial. without the creative spark of the original ova this just feels like a total dud. these characters have no chemistry together and the finale against this faceless monster was a total drag that resolved itself in a contrived fashion. even with double the run time of the original ova little was accomplished here.

Be sure to watch Wakaba Girl this season!

This is my life mana!

I am SOOOOO going to watch Wakaba Girl! Interesting beyond heck and looks so good. It was on my nice list of anime I want to watch/will watch this season (or after it airs). Wakaba Girl will be on a weekly airing basis for sure.

Kiniro Mosiac 2 - the English girls still can't speak English.

Hello!! Kiniro Mosaic - More like - The English girls are still insanely cute and have super cute English (Engrish) accents, aaaaaah! I can't wait I can't wait at all!

Ushio and Tora 1

If you're looking for a show charged with manly emotions, yelling, physical violence, and grotesque monsters, this is your show. Everything is turned up to 11 in this new adaptation of a shounen manga series from the 1990s. Satoshi Nishimura (Trigun, Hajime no Ippo) perfectly captures the earnest and sincere tone needed to pull off a story like this. The premise is straight out of the battle shounen playbook - Ushio discovers a secret underground chamber in the shrine in which he lives, and in that chamber resides a demon Ushio names Tora who's been trapped there by a spear for 500 years. By opening this chamber Ushio has caused Tora's anger to be released, attracting youkai to the shrine, thus necessitating Ushio to take the spear and free Tora so they can team up to fight evil. The execution is what sells it, as always. Ushio and Tora have instant chemistry, the balance between their desire to slit each other's throats and the uneasy truce they come to is delightful. In general, there's a good balance struck between humor and seriousness. The production is strong, with detailed character art, expressive animation, and engaging direction. There was one moment where the exposition started to get a little clunky, but other than that things kept moving at a good clip.

So the premise has been established in a strong manner, and I'm excited to see how things will develop from here. Especially since the original manga author is supervising the series and making sure that things will progress into what he feels are the most important and most climatic arcs of his story, I think this has the potential to be a special series if the quality keeps up.

Here in the God Eater panel that's still a thing. Hikaru Kondo is here too.

We might actually be getting the world premiere of episode 1.

The teacher looks like she's one of their classmates. Also what an annoyingly bubbly personality. Ugh.

Not a fan of the silhouettes - liked the idea in paper but it looks janky as fuck, especially cause of the really ugly, basic gradient they are shaded with. I had been hoping for something like that Wii U rpg (#FE illusions or something like that?), though I don't know if that would be better.

Its not really a big deal but the main character being a boy is weird. Like... it looks like they designed a female character and then made him a boy for some reason. I wonder why.

High school setting makes me yawn. Characters aren't interesting. Only mildly curious as to who killed the teacher.

I think I'm out.

Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales 5-8
Not that it really matters since the three stories are partitioned off but I started with Tenshu Monogatari which was apparently broadcast eps 5-8 but 1-4 in the NA release. I don't really have a lot to say about the story past really enjoying the tragic romance angle Format threw me off a bit though for whatever reason. Maybe too much stuff watched recently or just being in a fickle mood had me wish this was edited into a movie for a more seamless experience as the eyecatches and episodes ending where they did only served to break immersion.

I'll check out the first four eps sometime so I'm finally in a position to hit up the baekneko arc and move onto Mononoke.

Rurouni Kenshin Tsuiokuhen 2

This one's bittersweet as you see Kenshin's character begin to soften thanks to Tomoe's influence. Meanwhile she seems to harden as asks to see Kenshin's work with her own eyes. It's a shame just how ominously the episode closes out though. The Ikedaya Inn sequence was standout and I hadn't realized just how important of a historical event this was when I watched this the first time around.

Sengoku Basara Judge End 7
Took a bit to get reacclimated to it all. I wish I could say this was more of the same but the lowered production values and more serious tone doesn't do the property any favors.

Sengoku Basara Judge End 8

Huh, for all of my complaints about the show, seems like Mitsunari has a secret character arc going on not so dissimilar with Yukimura's in S2. It's the sort of thing where he's the only one growing while the status quo remains for everyone else though.

Sengoku Basara Judge End 9
While actual episode content was goofy in a bad way, some of the linework on display this episode was great, returning to the characters some lost personality and visual charisma that was lacking in the general flat look of this season.

Episode 1 ain't here lolololol

We're seeing the anime OP.

Oh thank goodness you posted again. I was just about to post "And InsaneZero was never seen again" and assume that they abducted everyone who turned up at the panel to do in-between fills for the show. :p

Hikaru Kondo is even saying that the OP isn't done either lolololol

It was decent enough quality to impress people in here though.

The first episode will be available in July 12th.
