The one thing I don't like about this list is Karin without Sakura. I want her back!

That is assuming one of the newcomers is a boxer. I refuse to acknowledge a Street Fighter game that has no boxer or muay thai boxer.

So far Im pumped for all of these reveals. Alpha 3 is probably my least played SF game so my experience with Karin and R.Mika are limited.

My only hope is that R.Mika's costume gets a redesign. I feel like its pretty alienating to females.

Same. Karin and Mika(with her Naruto VA) are two characters i absolutely wanted to return, but there's no Sakura whatsoever? Her place in the timeline would indicate a bigger spot by default

Does anyone really consider Abel to be the protagonist of SFIV? I feel like Ryu and Friends got way more screen time and story focus, in spite of Abel's plot hook being something that should have made him central to the story.

Not the guy you quoted but if I had to hazard a guess it's because Cammy's is a lot less "girly" and fetishy, for lack of a better term. It's got all the hearts, frills, and big bushy pigtails while putting her cleavage heavily on display. And it doesn't emphasize the butt any less than Cammy. On the flip side Cammy's leotard IS ridiculously tight but it at least seems somewhat practical. She might as well be wearing a one piece swimsuit. Plus her more serious, action girl attitude sells it better.

I don't really feel like Abel did much to be honest. His story just seemed to be him wandering about until he bumps into Guile and then they fight then somehow he ends up at Seth's place. Then again I guess a lot of the stories just fall into 'wandering around' XD

I'm also watching some videos and I would like to see Sean (for his basketball moves and fighting) and Eagle (for his eskrima sticks). Is there a chance these guys will return?

The poor Battlestar panel got cut off at the end for this panel. This is gonna be GOOD. Haven't seen anyone yet, though. Hopefully Ono cosplays someone new.

That would be nice. I'm not expecting a NRS style story mode (although I would love that), but a KI Season 2 style story mode would be nice.

Yea I guess I should answer what problem I have with R. Mika but its primarily what you mentioned. I think R.Mika could look pretty awesome with a new character and costume design that makes her a tougher looking woman and less a fetishy doll. Even removing the hearts on her breasts would go a long way to making that character a lot better and less alienating.


Again, Im pumped that her and Karin are in the game, I just think the option for a redesign is open due the fact that everyone but Ryu and Chun Li are sporting new or modified looks.
