If they're confident in showing a live gameplay demo for the first time, i hope they go big and show some of their setpieces ala Uncharted 4.
Also, this totally sounds like release date announcement, or at least release timeframe

The demo was really dissapointing imo, please show me something new and epic.
I know it was eluded to during the ATB where they revealed the survey poll results. It was something about "Please look forward to how the party changes when a female character temporarily joins". I don't remember if they specifically meant Cindy or not, but they did kind of stealth-reveal that at a certain point a female character would be a temp party member.

I will be really disappointed if this comes out at fall. It seems like SE is on a roll for their other AAA games while this looks to be taking forever to come out. I won`t be seeing any more footage of this (have skipped on several trailers and demos), so I hope they can at least come out with a release date even if it`s fall.QuiteWhittle

I love Nino! He's a very passionate FF fan and is the perfect fit for this event, as he's probably the German gaming journalist who knows the most about the franchise (once even impressed Toriyama and Kitase with his knowledge during an interview about LR ).

I'd think we should have a more diverse cast of supporting party members along the way since we're only playing as one character anyway.

It won't come out before March that's for sure due to the projected profits for the fiscal year.

Man, I'm super excited for FFXV. Loved Episode Duscae, can't wait to play more (hopefully next year).

I honestly can't get too excited about this game anymore. Give us a release date and then I'll get excited for it again. I'm tired of Square Enix announcing games that they have no idea when they'll finish.

I can only get more excited considering the only thing they've basically shown in the past year is Duscae demo shit. Now's we can see some cities, characters, plot elements.

2.0 is very solid, and considering it was just a demo, things can only get better from there hopefully.
My opinion is that mainly the battle system isn't up to standard even in 2.0
Enemies don't really telegraph attacks well which makes dodging sometimes feel a bit luck based (think wrpg), lock on still is a problem etc.. all in all its worse than almost any Kingdom hearts combat. BUT again its just a demo i am not talking about the full game lol...
2016 winter Japan release, 2017 spring rest of the world.

Thanks everyone! It seems there is a lot of hope for the main game to end up awesome, considering how early the demo is.
Its time to reveal Lightning.New Alternate main character.
I'm fine with everything that happened with the weird ending, FFXIII-2 fucked everything up anyway, but that outfit is one of the laziest redesigns I've ever seen, what the fuck are those ugly ass heels? who wears stuff like that?

Nah at this point I Imagine Japan and West will be close to each other. They already have voice actors contracted for the game.

There's not a chance in hell the game is still that far away. I'd wager Spring 2016 at the latest (for Japan), and then whenever after for the rest of the world.
It's literally the ugliest combo possible, those shoes irrationally gross me out.
And to go back on topic... if they show Duscae again I'm off the XV hype train until release.

Nah, you'd have to be delusional at this point to think they would take that long for the western release, which obviously is the more important console market nowadays.

Honestly, after first hearing that their "big marketing push"for FF XV is going to start at gamescom this year, imo it pretty much means that the game will be releasing in 2016.
