Jesus fuckin Christ yes

I hated how you had to accept blur o vision if you wanted all the other cool options

Then again, I'd be happy if they have tuned up the bokeh during gameplay so that it isn't too heavy handed. Otherwise it will be great to have the option.

Dammit I have the PS4 CE pre-ordered... I wonder if I should play that first or keep it sealed and just play the Steam version...

If the PC version comes out at Midnight EST then you bet I'll be playing that instead of the PS4 CE Amazon will bring to me.

Did GZ have 5.1 surround support on PC too?

Have they said anything about mouse controls not being complete jank? It was pretty impossible to use a mouse when aiming because it would stutter around instead of smoothly moving. I had to use a controller to snipe the targets in the assassination mission in GZ, which is pretty annoying.

Never had any issues with GZ. So much better to play with a mouse and overall the game runs like a champ.

I really don't understand why they pushed the release earlier. 15 more days to fix bugs would've been fine. I'm happy that the PC version releases at the same time but why not keep the original release date and have the PC version there?

Great news, got my game from the nvidia promo. :D
And thank god for that!
The pre-purchase price here is insanely high! Free GZ my ass. It is already factored in.

It looks like the green guy who likes to game is gonna sell it.

Are they selling it right now in the US? I'm not sure if isthereanydeal.com is just assuming they will be for $50USD or if GMG is selling it in Canada right now.

$40 on GMG after using this code
20OFFG-MGSAVE-20GMGV
http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/sa/en/pc/games/action/metal-gear-solid-v-phantom-pain/

not yet available for pre-order , but soon

Is it showing the price for you?

Is there an option for raw input that I missed?

Also it sounds like they sacrificed MGO3's release date for the 2 week earlier release on MGSV proper according to the press release.

I hope to jebus that this is a good thing. Not that fact that they're gonna rush the PC version out because they don't give a shit.

Crossing my fingers that it won't be Arkham Knight. Didn't that recent hands on preview event they had have the PC version? Might indicate that it must be pretty up to snuff if they showed it off.

Side note:
Kind of surprised that no one opened a thread regarding the pre-review of the game by Jeux Video Magazine. There are a couple of noticeable complains there:

-Players need to focus on Mother Base building from early on, to avoid getting stuck on missions later, that require specialized items.

Which also means, you can't use any weapon aside of the Tranquilizer gun until you have collected enough personnel for R&D. And apparently that takes a lot of missions.

-There isn't a lot of story exposition, at least during the first 30 missions. Few cutscenes (although well done, apparently).

Will be interesting to see if that turns out true.

It should be a pretty good port. Especially considering how open the people doing the port have been

Ughhh now I have to make a choice. I of course would prefer the PC version but I'm supposed to game share the ps4 version with my brother. I was gonna get the PC version on the cheap later cause of the delay.

Yay! Was considering a PS4 purchase since I feared the PC version would be late.

We need info on pre-load and midnight unlock. 1pm Eastern to start the download would be a bummer but it's still 2 weeks earlier than I expected

Tell your brother to stop freeloading and play what is likely to be the definitive version.

If your brother has a PC, MGS can be shared through Steam library sharing.

It really does sound like PW2.

Bahahah we freload off each other. We trade off big games (I buy 1, he. Buys the next one, etc).

They specifically point out that it's a giftable copy.

Hmm, this might be on your side. I had zero issues with the mouse code and am usually very sensitive to that stuff. It felt very good.

So is metal gear online part of the game or is it a separate download for pc?

I'm wondering this too. I don't want to go for the PC version if it means I can't play MGO until 3 months after console players, but if I can just download MGO separately on PS4 while playing the main game on PC that would be ideal.

Weird. I though kb/m was the best way to play on PC. I destroyed my old controller S Rank record using kb/m.

If they backport these options to the PC version of Ground Zeroes, Konami would be REALLY losing a great PC port asset. But since they aren't going to be in games for much longer, Konami's loss is... Sega? Microsoft? EA? Ubisoft? SONY???'s gain in the PC market.

Is the "infiltrate other players base" mode part of Metal Gear Online or not I wonder?
Would be a little bit of a shame if that part is also disabled until MGO starts up.

Nah, it sounds like it'll be the same as Peace Walker: You'll be getting a bunch of crap soliders to level until people find the "S-ranks always spawn here for medical/R&D, engineering/combat" people.

Aiming with the mouse was very twitchy, especially zoomed in binoculars/sniper. I played through the extra missions yesterday and it felt off, I still preferred it to a pad though.
