I would like the diamonds to be spawned around the base in random locations and time.
I've never played CoC so i really don't have a clue of what are you talking about
I dabbled in the CoC to see what the fuss was about. Basically, you farm resources from units but there's also resources that show randomly around your base that you can collect just by tapping them. These show up every once in awhile. You can use real money to purchase resources as well though. The free methods of acquiring resources is slow and you spend a lot of time waiting. You can acquire resources by raiding other clans but real money let's you upgrade things quicker. Since I had no interest in spending real money, I quit playing because otherwise it's just a time sink.
It seems like some of your platforms in MGSV can acquire GMP over time to provide a low but steady stream. Diamonds are a quick cash-in but appear random and timed.
There's a post about it on /r/metalgearsolid, looks like the source I saw was from 4 chan so not sure how accurate it is of course, but several comments said that they were arriving early next week due to the length of the game.

Thanks for the explanation! We feared that they would make microtransactions necessary but from what i've read so far from the boot camp i got the immpresion that it's not. If they didn't change anything since the boot camp then i don't think there is a reason to worry about. Not until KONAMI takes over at least....
I was also really glad to see that in order for a research to be completed it takes real time instead of mission counts as PW did.

Ah I see. Well it would make sense either way since Japan just had the boot camp event.
I think I read somewhere that there is another bot camp on the 21st.

I don't remember tbh mate. How small was the OP? It could be a big mission with multiple objectives. Even if it wasn't though, we've seen some crazy GMP costs so far. One Surveillance camera costs 200.000! But let's not forget that one camera can spot the intruder so the cost should be high.

It was the Russian interpreter extracting one.
But now I'm wondering if we could replay that one multiple times since it seems like a unique Op. If we could then that'll take care of GMP costs. Is there any info out regarding any GMP limitations when you replay Ops?
My biggest worry is the time for development and whether or not we'll be able to speed it up using in game methods. Like some advanced R&D maybe.
I hope we all survive the spoiler wave if there will be one.

Pretty sure that's an old pic and was proven fake since it's just the display case cover not the retail one since it had that big red square. Convenient how the recipet is folded too. Saw it on Reddit last week so I think we are safe ... For now .
More believable picture would include valid recipet or at least the disk

For me, it is a fake because the USK logo normally super high res and if this would be legit, he would've made a picture of the disc or playing it.
Also, no 100 % uncut on the cover, which is on the cover according to amazon.de and gamestop.de

Fake or not I think it would still be a good idea to start getting in cautious about things. Even if its not out yet it will be soon enough.
