Edit: Sorry, I got confused. We have time until next week for September's prediction league.
Sorry, i'm new here, what's exatly is the prediction legue on Media Create thread?
Essentially we predict how much a number of titles will sell within that month. I have a feeling you would enjoy that.

Might be reading this wrong, but the blog seems to be speculating, or just messing around about the possibility about an HD version of the original Metal Gear.
He definetly mentions HD Metal Gear at the very least.
Also... Wii U saved in Japan!!
Look... 3rd-party game... at retail! Unbelievable, right.
Yeah, well... talk about random. Nice cover, at least.

It's because the 3DS version did so well;-)
Mario Maker preorders on comgnet seem pretty low?
[WiiU] Super Mario Maker - 14pt
Dragon's Dogma Online seems to be pre ordering pretty well for a FTP game. Anyone know what the physical edition comes with, or if it's limited or something?
Also look like it will be the next PS4>PS3.
Yeah, there's that fake 3D thing, right? 4Gamer.net had an article about it yesterday.
yes, I just saw the picture on the right, the station was crowded as usual and I was in a hurry to come back home, so I didn't notice the entire thing
nice and original advertisement

The fact you didn't realise there was a 3DS version answers my question;-)Wait a minute, what 3DS version. I remember Silver Star was going to release a 3DS game, but I think it was going to be different. And...how do you know that it sold that well to convince them to release it on Wii U, unless you're a bit joking of course
Not surprising. The appeal of this game is niche.
can't tell if you are serious
SE trolling hard with that fake 3D ad considering the game doesnt even support it, bunch of jokers I tell you D:
The one released on 3DS is not the same as the Vita/WiiU version. The fact you didn't realise there was a 3DS version answers my question;-)
It wasn't the lowest selling 3DS game that week however.
Nice to see 3DS software and hardware sales going so well, also considering the fact that it is in its 5th year. Its lineup is so packed with important releases that it should keep slaying throughout the rest of the year.
Welcome back Pennywise. Hopefully we get more Splatoons and Minecraft-type evergreens on the other platforms as well .
Any leaks and what was YSO's week 34 predictions again?
During all this week, on the first floor at Shibuya TSUTAYA is being showed this 3D art.
The blog complaining about KanColle?
Super Robot Wars UX > Super Robot Wars BX
No real surprise here, though at least BX has better sellthrough ratio than UX if that 1st-day data is anything to go by.
YSO predictions
Week 34, 2015 (Aug 17 - Aug 23)
[3DS] Animal Crossing < 110k
[3DS] Yokai-Watch Busters < 60k
Super Robot Wars UX > Super Robot Wars BX
watching at YSO predictions for the "commong games" between week 24 and 25:
[3DS] Animal Crossing < 70k
[3DS] Yo-Kai Watch Busters < 40k
and considering that YSO gave this prediction for week 35:
[WIU] Splatoon < 30k
could we see Splatoon SO consistent this week to be around 40k?!
As expected by YSO predictions: they put it around 110k, while UX debuted with:
115.384 (MC numbers)
120.751 (Famitsu numbers)
Just a couple of questions: are YSO predictions "indipendent" or based on MC? Or Famitsu?
Are the "leaks" from the "blog" MC-based?
Still pretty consistent, imho, if confirmed.

Splatoon was selling 30k+ units on a weekly basis before Obon as well, so it won't be surprising to see a milder drop and selling between 30k-40k again.
YSO predictions are based on Famitsu.

3DS lineup is packed only with important releases. Medium and small titles are missing and this is the biggest 3DS problem since its launch.
It never had the support previous market leaders had. DS faced the same problem only after PSP's Monster Hunter revival.
