Here's my Pacman inspired high score grabbing level 'Pacmania' if anyone wants to have a go:

CD68-0000-0020-966F

From looking online since it's similar to something that the Rayman created put in front of Mr Miyamoto recently, but feel my level is a little tighter.

Would love to get some feedback on it.

A throwback to Mario 3's last castle. It isn't extremely tidy and the throwback only really consists of one visual cue but I'm hoping people spot it and have fun with the level.

Pretty OK level. Felt a bit too much near the end in terms of all the plants shooting at you paired with the goombas. Didn't really give the player any room for error. Gave it a star because it was at least fair.

Last I checked no one had completed the stage I made earlier today, if someone would be so kind to give it a go and let me know why it is too hard to figure out what to do that would be sweet.

My Kind Of Amusement Park - (0A91-0000-0023-E6E8)

Beat it.

The concept of having only a short time limit and you have to quickly figure out what to do is good here. I also like the first half of a level.
But after Bowser it becomes a bit of a mess. I would avoid spamming too much enemies, because it just feels luck based there and not like a platforming challenge that relies on the player skills anymore.
 
Haven't ploughed this many hours into a game for ages. Time literally flies by.
Used to do a bit occasionally on Lunar Magic a few years ago but this is so easy and enjoyable.

Spent a good few hours on these 3. Nothing hard but fun. Feedback very welcome.

Haha first thing I did was grab the spring out of the air, whoops. You can skip the whole first section by jump twirling onto the first ledge with a pirahna
 
NWC 2015-4 is the worst thing ever. A perfect guide on how not to make a level. There is way too much lag between the controller and the TV for this.

Alright, here's my new wrestling-themed level:

Mario visits the Wrestle Kingdom

Features a boss battle with the world heavyweight champion, Bowser, which can be difficult, but doable.
If you wanna figure out your own strats, don't watch the video. There are a couple of hidden strategies not shown, though.

So cool concept, but a couple things:

1. The spring can be grabbed out of the air if the user is shooting fireballs since it's the same button as grab.
2. The first section can be entirely circumvented by jumping then twirling and landing on the platform of the first pirahna plant.
3. The pacing of the second section is off, I would delay the first spiky ball coming at you so the player can orient themselves to bouncing and shooting. The first one comes fast and it is seemingly random whether you are in sync to hit it with a fireball.

It's a cool concept and fun but it's a bit too random with the pacing and the spring itself can be wonky with the grab/fireball button. I got to the star portion and died but will try to beat it after.
 
Here's the second course I made. Spent a decent amount of time on it today. Really having fun making these levels. I'm not particularly good at it, but it's damn fun making Mario levels.

Cannon Classic

Used the full length of the level and some parts can be pretty tricky. Gets a little hectic at the end, but I tried to keep it fair throughout. Named it Cannon Classic since it's a classic Mario level that uses some cannons. I really suck at coming up with good level names. Hope everyone enjoys it. Now I got to get to trying out all the level posted here.

Maybe I'll get lucky, at worst I'll delete my boring ones.

Edit : holy, I'm getting tons of SMB 1-1 in this 100 Mario challenge.

I have to say, after initially dreading what would come after hitting it out of the block, that was surprisingly fun! The beginning seems to be a lot more difficult than the middle and end, but that ending was really cool. I was grinning when I realized what exactly was happening.

Would like to see you perfect this concept as I could see it being something really special.

Would really appreciate it if you guys could leave a star on this one if you like it, way too much time went into this one. Try out a different route if you die, lots of different routes to take.

How much to do like Mario games, and appreciate level design? If the answer to those is equal to or great than "A bit!", get this.

On a scale of 1-10, my interest in this game was like a 6 or 7. I sat down last night to mess with it for 30 minutes and go to bed. Was up until 3am making shit. It's really addictive and fun.

I've watched hours and hours of gameplay over the last two days and have some questions (I may buy this in a month or so):

The SMB3 editor:
1) Can you create grass slopes that you can slide down on your butt?
2) Is there background variety to choose from like desert (world 2) and ice (world 6)?
3) Can you choose power-ups from other games like Yoshi and cape? Or only powerups specific to a particular game?

The New SMB editor:
1) Like the SMB 3 question, can one pick the Stary Sky background?


If there's one thing that turns me off about the game is that of the levels I've seen, they all seem based on the world 1 theme of their respective games. Although that may be due to the timed nature of tools (now gone due to the patch).

Any insight would be greatly appreciated GAF.

1. I knew that. Not really much I can do about that. It's juat something if he player does it then they realise then tbat they have to be careful with it.

2. Holy crap I never realised that.

3. Interesting.

Nice feedback. Now if only Nintendo would allow me to edit my already uploaded courses. Actually, if I delete it, edit the one on my system and reupload it, will it still save the stars and plays that level has already had?

Hmm, yeah I was worried about that while building it. I'll have to figure out how to convey that better.

i finally found a really good and creative level!

it was called Super Metroid Bros. and the concept is finding items to advance to "sealed" off parts of the stage.

it was really creative and not like the other levels which have people trying to kill you the moment you load in

it was by a german named sven.
