Complete the game, start NG+ playthrough alongside new character(s) with Bloodtinge and/or Arcane, when the DLC drops you get to experience it at multiple difficulty levels and make use of all new weapons. It's 2.5 months until then, you have plenty of time.

Good idea, I'll have a NG+3 Burial Blade character ready, as well as a NG++ Chikage and a NG Ludwig's Holy Blade one. Then I'll start a SL4 playthrough and get to the DLC during the playthrough to see how organically it connects to the main game.

2 million for a new IP (though every knew it was gong to be good so not a risk to take) on a single platform in a less-than-mainstream genre (i.e. Not a shooter, sports game, etc.)
