I love your 'freestyle' style, though. Still have my Cailen pic that I'll use as my NaNo cover (if that's all right).

And very excited to be signed on for a sequel, but also a bit nervous. If I can't hammer it out during NaNo, I'll be in a tight spot... Oh! For you, if you can't think of anything to write, why not stretch more art practice into doing people's covers? You could reward them for hitting benchmarks or something.

So this was my first time drawing anything in a long ass time. I was about to call it a night and finish these two tomorrow, but I knocked over my bottle of water when I stood up and bumped the table. I think they were both looking aight so far, too, considering it's been a while. I took these pictures before I stood up so at least I have something to show. Maybe I'll try this again tomorrow.

i gave it a shot too, you have a very interesting face. I painted it pretty small, but here's the 'full size' if you want. it's pretty scratchy haha! only used a full opacity hard brush.

There are a lot of people requesting pics versus those drawing, so things may take a while or may not be done at all. It's meant (I'm not the OP, so just riffing here, but...) as a fun/creative thread, so no need to get in a strop or sad if you don't get results, immediate or otherwise. It's all just a bit of silliness. Contributing by drawing others (regardless of what you think your skill level is) is also a great way to participate/barter/get noticed, btw.

The guy could give something silly for the talented artists to draw as well. There's a lot of pics of us looking normal or trying to look handsome, but people are more willing to pick up on something different.

This is why I mentioned upthread that I hope nobody comes into this thread expecting free art. Regardless of the original intent, the thread has become a pool of reference photos for artists to practice with at their discretion. If your face gets chosen, congratulations, you got lucky. If it doesn't, too bad, you were never guaranteed anything. Not that I have anything against anyone posting a second time if they do get skipped, of course.

If someone explicitly asked me to draw them something for free, I'd tell them to fuck right off.
