...I think I've been confusing SolarPowered with Moonlight all this time lol

Only just noticed the difference in the avatars
You aren't the only one. I've lost track of my posts because I keep expecting to see Hsien-Ko instead. Thank God for Ctrl+F.

So this means Alex is going to be the next incarnation reveal, right?

Though considering the only female on the roster is Poison, Skullgirl and Friends might be more appropriate.

Good to see that Skullgirls 2: Deadly Airport keeps up the Lab Zero standard of magnificence graphics than any other fighting game.

I'm thinking of upping my pledge, but the tier structure is sort of weird for me... I'm sitting at 30$ right now, and the jump to the next digital-only tier is by 45$. 75$ is just a bit too expensive for me right now . Physical stuff will get expensive with shipping over here, so the 60$ tier is basically out.

Have you thought about reworking the tiers a bit or introducing new ones to those who rather not ship internationally? I'm sure I'm not the only in this predicament .

The $75 tier was the all-digital tier that SG backers requested on that campaign, so we duplicated it for this one.

What kind of tier are you looking for?

so this seems to have been an above-average day
The last eight days have been great for the campaign with an average hovering right around 20k. The goal is just so high that it looks like the needle isn't moving. Ideally we need the daily average to move up to a reasonable 25-30k until day 35 or so. The last week is really key here. It'll be interesting to see what kind of effect TFH's successful campaign will have now that it is done. Indivisible pretty much has the spotlight all to itself now.

It's coming later than I would like, but... we should have something pretty big to drive the last two weeks.

The timing is just right. The campaign might need more than a single week of overdrive. In other news it seems we got a 1k contribution and a 2k contribution. High rollers are the best. I just hope at least one of them is taking Samurai Jack into consideration when presenting their monster and boss concepts to the team. That is what I'd be doing if I had a magical wallet lying around. :3

I need to get it up on the site proper - did direct DL originally because it wasn't signed, but no one seems to care about that.
Count down until the complaints start rolling in about dodgy unsigned prototypes. Lab Zero so shady.

frankly I think people grabbing up those Brahmin and Divinity slots is the GET this campaign needs right now
One of the 2.5ks was grabbed yesterday at least. I feel those big ones are often taken towards the end if they're not grabbed at the start. Very rarely a middle of the campaign deal.

No one has done it yet so I figured I should. Thorani and Leduc's older bro are now in full color. Seriously check out the updates for Vasco's new information. It's got a neat short vid. Mike outdid himself.

One of the Four Superiors under Supreme Lord Ravannavar's army, Dhar led campaigns across the land to subjugate any region that was not in support of Ravannavar's pro-Kala rule.

He came upon Ajna's village during these campaigns, but did not expect to become such an unusual prisoner of war.

Despite being Ajna's first Incarnation, he's not exactly the most supportive of friends. To say that they don't get along is a massive understatement. His own survival depends on hers now, however, even though her quest to challenge Lord Ravannavar is practically suicide, in his opinion.

"Thorani is a calm and caring celestial with a bit of a playful side. She enjoys living among humans, and hopes to bring joy to the citizens of Tai Krung City with her performances.

Being naturally gifted at channeling Iddhi, Thorani is able to conjure magical water into her hair. This water can cleanse people of their addiction to corrupted Soma, a dangerous drug spread by the kingpin Mara. Losing customers does not please Mara at all, and Thorani now finds herself caught in the drug lord's sights."

I can't really say it enough, but the amount of dark skinned characters in this game is really fantastic. Dhar looks much better in colour, I've gotta say.

The per day total has been good and comparable to a lot of other larger (though not Bloodstained large) campaigns. It was the start that was underwhelming which means the end has to pick up the slack.

I don't think I've ever checked a crowdfund's total as often as I have Indivisible's. It's probably not healthy.

Yeah crowdfunding campaigns of projects I care about tend to be murder on my productivity if I have to be near a computer.

Very much agreed.

I want to be in love with this game, but the combat is so foreign to me. If they told me it would be as fun as Guacamelee, I would've donated instantly.

If any of the developers are reading this, does this game share some similarities with Guacamelee, in it being about speed and satisfactory combat?

EDIT. I'm just gonna try the prototype. :)

yeah, most crowdfunds I've followed have been either abject failures or slam dunks (glad to say mostly the former)
this one is interesting because, right now it's got a chance at success but not a gurantee

Just 2k more for the next Incarnation. Then after that is the road to 500k. Hopefully the desire for round numbers spikes up the funding after this.

I'm worried though in that we're in the midpoint of the campaign and still haven't reached a third of the required funds.

it should be fine.

word of mouth has steadily been getting better, and pledges have been pretty steady for a while now.

and I am likely not the only one waiting until the last few days before backing it as I don't want my funds taken until near the end.

I expect a full third of the cash requested to come in in the last handful of days with enough push, which really just leaves another third to try and get to before that point. Word of mouth has still been good and I think we're well past the dark days of the first week. I think the campaign can only pick up the closer it gets to its' goal.

It might have been asked before but has there been much engagement with the japanese fans? SG got a bit of a following overseas so I wonder if they'd be interested in this game as well.

I would have NEVER thought that those black and white characters were dark-skinned. This is amazing!!

Ravi did mention somewhere in this thread that their origin would make the cast predominantly brown skinned, but for some reason I was still expecting Thorani to be red haired.

Pleasantly surprised, I must say. Redheads are great, but goddayum she looks amazing.

Oh dear god yes. FINALLY the sort of character design I've always wanted to see in a game but pretty much never get to. I really should up my pledge over this, finances permitting.

holy FUCK @ them thighs

It's still October, guys. Them Turkey thighs are too thick.

*sweats profusely*

The characters really needed coloring after all. I never would have guessed that Dhar was dark skinned.

The end is going to be some hardcore shit. It'll be like putting weights on at THE END of a marathon.
can this game have social links so i can marry the guy

do it lab zero
If they made dating sims they'd rule Japan and have enough monies to buy Darkstalkers from Capcom.

Do it, Ravi.
Lab Zero games always have the best fan-artists.

Indeed

They might, but this is a crowdfund for a new IP. That sort of thing still seems up the West's alley, but I'm sure we got a few tens of thousands from Japan thus far. There are some hardcore Lab Zero stans over there lol.
Oof this is so good.
