Nope. RE Revelations 2 for example ran better on Xbox One.
Is that true though? eventually will the Xbox One version of games be able to atleast match the PS4's?
Is 1080p vs. 900p still a thing?
are you for real man? people should prefer horizontal scaling rather than native res?! WTF is this horse shit !
WTH? Grab a coffee.are you for real man? people should prefer horizontal scaling rather than native res?! WTF is this horse shit !
Why would I think what?, I was seriously curious to know if towards the end of these consoles life cycles if devs could get more out the Xbox One to finally match the PS4 on multiplats. I am also curious to know if 900p games on PS4 will eventually be able to hit 1080p. Like will we ever see a battlefield game at 1080p on the PS4 or no is that impossible because of the hardware?
That's not what he said i think. He means, people should prefer 1344*1080 over 1600*900.
Don't kill me for being curious about how console optimizations will work in the future.
Even if you believe xbox games will be better optimized in the future (they will), you're assuming ps4 optimization will stand completely still for xbox to 'catch up'
What does 60 on pc even mean? Like pc isn't really tied to any set specs. Most people steam have pretty shitty parts so their probably running their games on the lowest settings possible.I'm guessing 30fps on both consoles, and 60 on PC? Woooo boy, another 900p debacle. I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun on regardless of platform!
So slightly better looking on PS4, and slightly better performance on X1.
Seems about normal these days.

XB1 is a car that goes 100 miles an hour top speed and PS4 has top speed of 125. How can one ever match the other?
XB1 is a car that goes 100 miles an hour top speed and PS4 has top speed of 125. How can one ever match the other? The driver of Xbox can learn how to drive it better but so will drivers of PS4. The actual gap cannot be negated because it is a real, physical constraint. Why would I think what?, I was seriously curious to know if towards the end of these consoles life cycles if devs could get more out the Xbox One to finally match the PS4 on multiplats. There will be a ceiling for both correct? its just one will hit its ceiling allot sooner then the other? I am not assuming anything! I am asking questions about things I am unsure about and listening to the response.

Fuck, I bought those to play video games!

Every game could look/perform better on PS4. If it doesn't the developer either aimed for parity or game is undemanding enough that both handle it equally well.
PS4 and Xbox One are nutella jars. PS4 is a bigger jar than XboxOne and depending on optimisation, devs are either scrapping them with a fork or a with a flexible spatula.

Let's not even turn it into such a straw man. Someone asked about performance and why XB1 could never match the PS4's in general regardless of software updates and optimization.
It's true. You must not be following comparisons lately then.
It's true.
Guess I need to start following along a little more closely from now on!
I was just making a joke, relax.
It's funny that you made such a definitive claim and then afterwards admit that you really haven't anything to back it up with.
I think that nobody is surprised. Most of multiplatform AAA games are 900p on X1.
But which one will have the AF issues?
We don't have a list to quantify that though
Is 1080p vs. 900p still a thing?
It will be all gen.
