Indeed. It is truly a video game through and through and that is why I love it. It's all about pure fun and jaw-dropping chaos in a massive paradise-like setting.

Sweet ass engine, I got the game on Xbox One very recently so I'll be happy to answer any questions. I also don't want JC2 download code since I already own the game on 360 so I'm wanting to give that out as well for whoever wants it.

PC mods my friend.
I used unbreakable wires on my last playthrough and it was a blast. Also 2 km distance.
Im glad they are taking into account mods for the new wire uses and flying in JC3. No, you cant fly infinetly or shoot a 2 km wire, but theyve created the flight suit to do something similar as the popular superman mod, and the longer unbreakable wires even if they arent as long as in the majority of mods.

It's installing, will report back after trying it out. If I am able to take screenshots I'll share which I'm sure I won't be able to since they lock out saving screenshots from the console for unreleased games unless you got yourself an Elgato and the like which I don't.

Star Wars battlefront has spoiled me on graphics now. It's the benchmark that all games need to achieve.

Guy on reddit has the PS4 version and says it looks nice but runs poorly(below 30fps) when a lot of explosions are going off. Is it the same on Xbox One? This might be the game that pushes me to get a PC for that sweet sweet 60fps.

I'm sure for the optimal experience PC is the way to go, I remember playing the PC version of JC2 and it's significantly better than the 360 version that I played which pretty much goes for most PC games or atleast from developers who usually do a damn fine job porting it. I'll report back after playing more and trying to cause more mayhem to see what happens.
Hopefully it's the same and not worse than the PS4 version but we'll see.

Currently on Boom Island, which is a small area they let you goof around while the game installs. Frame rate looks solid, but thats probably because the area is barren.
It's 30fps most of the time, but around big explosions (and I mean BIG) it runs in slow motion.

It's good to note that there is no update to download as of now except for a measly 1074 something KB. Perhaps there would be a day 1 patch that would iron out most things since that's how it goes when it comes to games these days so I wouldn't make my decision until the game releases.

The havoc extension destruction they showed there briefly looks very interesting. Still seems limited as I thought I've seen a lot of non destructable geometry in recent videos?

Holy... that is amazing. This is a game! So much good stuff coming out recently and soon, but this is on another level.
Any big explosions yet? Seemed really bad in another stream.
That is also from Just Cause 2. We have use of 4 tethers with a retractable (slingshot) system in JC3.

A few, yeah. He blows up some of the huge gas canisters. The quality is much better than that stream. 3 hours worth of footage.
