Moving up gives him a speed advantage and his technique stays the same super-high level. Size have somewhat of an effect, but it won't be nearly the difference maker you think. Especially against a guy like Cowboy. Against a super-pressure wrestler like RDA or Khabib? The size difference matters more. But not against Cowboy.

This logic works on the assumption Cerrone will beat RDA, which I'm not sure will happen, Dos Anjos stylistically is a very bad match up for Cerrone.

So was Mendes, so was Aldo, etc.

Cmon Mendes had no training camp and gassed, or else he would of had no problem holding him down for another few rounds like he did already and Aldo tried to prove a point and stand with him. Guys will figure out they shouldn't try and prove points because Conor has legit standup and KO power. It's going to take a grappler with a gameplan to beat him just like the other 2 losses on his record.

Pettis vs. McGregor would be absolutely amazing. McGregor will fight the fight Pettis likes and vice-versa.

Well I was originally responding to the idea that Cowboy is a bad fight for McGregor.

With hindsight, sure, all that is possibly true.

But it's what everyone was saying before the fight, that Mendes would wrestle McGregor out of it. My point is it gets said a lot, that X fighter is a bad match up for McGregor.

Sounds like Dana would want Conor to vacate belt if he went to 55.

I wonder if Conor would be able to convince him otherwise.

Camera man doesn't know who Yoel Romero is.

Also, lol at Romero's canned response. Definitely got a PR agent between fights.

Is he talking about some shit from The Secret? I just converted and the guy is already trying to push me away.

Don't take it too seriously. Connor says ridiculous shit to rile people up. And who's to say he doesn't truly believe in himself? It's worked for him so far.

Conor with respectful words to "the only champion in the history of the division." Says he'd be open to a rematch.

Also says he's the champ at 145 and the contender at 155. He will not vacate.

Was really glad to see both main events go the way I wanted and this celebration made me smile. Certainly a character, this guy.
