Well that was a convenient way to get on the ship. I didn't really notice the mixed media the artist was using in the previous chapters, but now I see it's actually quite a lot. I hope they continue to develop on this style, from the afterward it seems that this is more of a first attempt so I probably have a lot to look forward to.

I think it kind of fell apart a few times and I didn't much care for the ending arc, but yeah. By and large I loved it.

by looks with the small amount of animation we saw in the end it does look like it
I remember the old anime had the mask being silver and all around less colourful when compared to the manga
does that mean that the Noah will be actual black (human) coloured now rather then being grey zombie coloured

Key characters not shown, like Erina (one panel, but said nothing), she could have ran out to Soma for example. Kuga not shown, surely he cared for the result. Taku and other peers of Soma either. It was televised. Why did the previous head of Totsuki get shown for example, but not Erina's dad?

They might keep them as grey coloured since it's still the same studio working on it. And were the Noah ever shown in Colour pages in the manga as being dark skinned? I always thought they were grey. The change in Crown Clown's mask was probably because they couldn't invest into making it colourful each episode.

In the early beginning they were grey but in the current updated manga they're reddish brown (for like 40ish or even 100+ chapters)
it went from Grey, to light grey, to white brown, to brownish yellow, to reddish brown and brown

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun Vol.11
After the whirlwind end of the last volume, I like that this volume really goes back and strengths the friendship and relationship between the main four characters.
It's nice to see Shizuku figure out what she was looking for in Haru and their relationship, a nice growth from the girl who never really opened up. The Shizuku and Natsume moment was very well done and it was nice to see the beta relationship slowly build up now and be in the open.
Also nice to finally kill off the love triangle that we all knew wasn't going to happen.
