Hmm the dlc for Burnout Paradise seems broken. The timesavers pack it downloads is only 60kb but according to the store it should be a 108kb unlock key.


Actually the legendary car pack also downloads 60kb and comes up as damaged and cannot be used.

Wtf?
What gives?

I want to get Saints Row 4 but what exactly is wrong with the One version? The 360 version is still listing for $8.74 for Gold members so I might get that if its vastly superior.

Hows Alien Isolation on Novice? Is it significantly easier? want to get it for the wife. She loves the immersion but not the difficulty though.

it depends I played on easy and got stopped in a certain area that requires hitting a certain combo. it was starting some sort of generator, I could not do it fast enough and gave up the game at that point
the alien part was fine, but stupid mini game......

I guess accounting for tax is part of it. I also wonder if it's financially better for MS to keep this loophole opened and get cash from other regions, and are therefore making certain prices more/less attractive? Meh, I'll take off the tinfoil hat and just enjoy that particular benefit.

Ouch. that doesnt sound fun. I guess mini-games arent affected much by the difficulty setting.

I got the Fallout 4 deal yesterday but I've not received a code for Fallout 3? was that a physical only deal? I wanted to give the code to my stepson...

That's not going to change with RoS, but the expansion is pretty great and the post-release support with patches have made the game even better. I played it on PS3 and bought it for XBO on BF with GCU for $16, interested to see if the God of War armor transfers with my character.

It's also on the Xbox One as well...I wasn't going to get it but I was on the fence this whole week. Thought it was lost in the sauce since I didn't do it last night. Saw that it was still up and boom...cash monies. Took the plunge. Worth it. :)


(Now one can only hope that CD made it cross-buy with PC windows 10 version...if not, oh wells...)

Ugh, missed out on Ori and Storm Island DLC. Kept putting off buying them.

Will there be a 'best of' sale day like the last day of the Steam Sale where I could get those prices again?

Do not, I repeat, do NOT buy Shadow of Mordor for 360. It's a garbage, severely downgraded port that shouldn't have seen the light of day. I rented it and played the whole thing for 1000G so I know what I'm talking about.

-20 FPS or below for the whole game.
-Massive screen tearing
-Very low quality textures and character models
-Sound syncing issues, sound cuts out frequently
-Really bad pop in
-Low res, easily sub-720p
-and the worst...there's a 5 second or so loading screen for exiting the pause menu. THE PAUSE MENU. EVERY TIME.

This was nauseating to play compared to the Xbone version, which I love to death.

Alien for $10 is tempting. I am not a huge Alien fan but a huge horror movie fan so maybe I would enjoy it.

Also might grab Saints Row, I always wanted to play the Xmas DLC. I played some of the base game for the 360 but never finished it or played any DLC

It's awesome. If you don't like the original Alien you may not dig it, though.

Xbox sales don't usually but would be amazing if Xbox started doing them.

Grabbed Alien, AC Syndicate and got Divinity from Amazon separately. Not too bad, all set until Quantum Break comes out.

How is Chivalry on the xbone? I have it on PC, but I only played a bit on my crappy old laptop - while the game was fun it didn't run well.

Does it run pretty well? There was definitely a lot of fun to be had.

Grabbed Alien: Isolation collection, finally bit on Sleeping Dogs and Zombi to play again. Still debating whether to buy the Infinity 3.0 ToyBox since that's all the kids play with anyway...

I bought it 'cause of all the GAF hype during the VGA sale. Hasn't really caught me yet to be honest, though I'm just halfway through episode 2. I really like the atmosphere though, they really captured that greatly.
