I wish the Snowspeeder would do more damage against tie fighters. As it is no one wants to fly those death coffins.

Even if you can get some shots in against a Tie the dmg is so small it's ridiculous.

They're not supposed to be anti-air, they're the counter to the AT-ST. You need support from an X-Wing or A-Wing.

Here are my guesses for DLC HvV:

Chewbacca vs. Bossk
They are natural enemies, would be similar in moves.

Lando vs. IG-88
Mainly because they were in the same movie or else I would have picked Greedo.

Bonus:
Ackbar vs. Bib Fortuna
Support abilities.

as to the shooting objects in front of you, watch the reticle and the white turns a gray color when it is not going to fire past an object. Move it slightly and it goes white and you are clear

Interesting. I'll keep an eye out for it because it always feels like I need to get further out of cover in 3rd person than I otherwise would in 1st.

Does EA do any sort of balancing when it comes to player level in matchmaking? It's unreal when 3 guys on the other team go ~25-2 in the same round of blast (all with the dl-44)

I'm pretty sure matchmaking just looks for open games and that's it. No balancing, no level matching, no effort.

Was getting caught part of your plan?
I like how today's Daily Challenge was "Finish a match," especially in light of the community challenge lol

Level 48 here and I'm starting to see an absurd amount of Shadow Troopers and Tw'ilek's in my matches so I think there's some level matching going on around here.

Heads up PS4 players. If you'd like to get involved in competition for this game, the Star Wars Battlefront Community will be hosting a test tournament (no prize, goal is to refine the tournament system) starting February 12th for the PlayStation 4 version of the game.

You can read the specifics here.

If you'd like to sign up your clan please follow the sign up link in that topic. If you would like to join an existing clan you can make a free agent post here.

Some background, the Star Wars Battlefront Community was founded in the Fall of 2007 to organize clan matches for the PlayStation 2 version of Star Wars: Battlefront II after the previous tournament site turned its attention to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. We've run over 13 seasons of tournaments since our founding. We were initially dismayed that the new game didn't have private matches, but with the last patch we've gotten a second wind and aren't wasting it.

There is a prestablished community of clans affiliated with the site, but we are always looking for new clans and new players to join up. We aren't as formal or deathly serious as places like GameBattles, but we do usually have some sort of prize for the winner of each season. All of our primary tournaments are free to enter and always will be. We also plan to host special tournaments such as 10v10 (or more) Supremacy tournaments and Heroes vs. Villains tournaments.

If you've got any questions just ask me.

No cards allowed, imo.

But, if you MUST be a peasant and use item and buff cards, I put forward the following loadout to be considered for the *approved* loadout:

Cooling Cell
Post-nerf Homing Shot
Post-nerf Bowcaster
Sharpshooter

About as pure as you can get if you've gone and done something silly like buying and using star cards. Ain't gonna kill nothing quickly with that loadout.

So this thread has come down to one person bragging about his skills and tell everyone how to play and enjoy the game. Fantastic.

Yeah that's pretty much Infinitry Patriot in a nutshell. Just froths over himself and then calls everyone else's loud outs cheating.

Please explain to me how I'm "bragging" and telling everyone HOW to play. I'm voicing my opinion about a shitty starcard. You must be someone who uses it considering your unprovoked jab at me.

I don't even play anymore right now, just my observation. I used ES for like 5 times - it's fun.

Wanted to repost this on the new page so everyone can get a chance to see it.

I had read where the saber tracks enough to hit vehicles but when I tried it on speeders last night I had no luck. Either due to my poor aim or sub-optimal ping.

Star cards are a part of the game. If you feel only certain ones meet your personal approval or don't want to use certain cards that's up to you, but calling other names or somehow insulting them for using them makes you a total piece of shit. Get out of here with that fuckery, it doesn't belong on GAF.

On a more positive note, Last night was a first for me and a buddy - we played a full Walker Assault rotation and won all games on both sides. Not bragging as that usually comes down to lack of team balancing, but it felt so good. We did have a lot of people coming in and out between matches so the teams refreshed. The very last match was 10 v. 10 for some reason, as if people left and others did not join. Was a vastly different game playing WA on Jundland with only 10 players per side.

Totally gonna enter that tournament.

you wont get any better rage quitting on Endor when you go 1-6 either, swings and roundabouts I guess

Yes I will.

No one likes losing or doing bad.

Also, I'll agree that Explosive Shot is annoying, but I don't care if people use it. I still have better accuracy and kill faster than most Explosive Shot users.

But bro, I wont get better by leaving a team that is doing ungodly bad and when I'm having a bad game myself.

No you wont. Things don't go your way work it out - don't throw the towel in straight away

Not every map is a campfest at the back of the map in an AT-ST.....

I know you watch my stream and I know you're trying hard to talk shit, but I play smart with the AT-ST. I'm not going to rush into the middle to get buttfucked. I'm staying back and swatting down starfighters and covering control points. Keep your shit talk to yourself unless you can do better.

*grabs EP 7 popcorn cup from cupboard again*

But in all seriousness, each and every star card has a role, you should use whatever as long as it benefits the type of game mode and map you're playing.

ES is great on Jundland against heroes protecting M-Coms.

But I don't play the smaller modes enough to really comment on them.
