Where: Windows 10 Store only

• (Windows store doesn't update the visual progress bar properly. It's a known issue. Just start your download, and let it go.)
• Make sure you have the most recent updates for Windows 10. Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update > Check for updates.
• Double check your locale in W10: Settings > Time and Language > Region and Language > Country or region (to ensure proper language/pricing on W10 Store.)

About the Game:

• Gears UE on PC, is a COMPLETE remake of the original Gears of War that released back in 2006. It's been completely remade for modern hardware.
• DEDICATED servers - Can't call me host no more.
• DirectX 12... supposedly
• Controller supported - XB1 and 360 controller. Reports of DS4Windows working.
• Cross-play between XBOX ONE and PC/Win 10 is currently not supported.
• Cross-buy between XBOX ONE and PC/Win 10 is currently not supported.
• Reports of poor performance reported on AMD cards. Known issue, AMD is working on a driver fix.
• NVIDIA Game Ready driver Ver. 362.00 WHQL
• To save Win 10 apps to another (SSD) drive: Settings > System > Storage > Save Locations > you can change the default drive you save/download apps to.
• G-SYNC currently not properly supported DURING CUTSCENES. Regular gameplay unaffected. - And a patch in the future will address this. Stay tuned.
• NAT settings - Open/Moderate/Strict: Try this for now. (Still unable to get an open NAT? Try bypassing your router until we have this addressed.)
• Stat junkie? Check your stats here. (You'll need to sign-in with your Windows Live ID.)
• Ear Trumpet: a W10 app to control volume of other apps!! Super helpful, as now you can lower the volume out of game. You can read about it here.

Reported Issues:

• Connectivity issues between parties/lobbies matchmaking - unable to connect, party members are dropping out (freezing, game not loading).
• Game freezing at countdown or upon loading the map - having to close out the game.
• Hanging at the "Contacting Gears of War services" screen. Current workaround.
• Fixed: "The issue some users were experiencing while being stuck on the Crimson Omen while opening Gears: UE Win10 has been resolved!"

So glad it's not cross play. One of the best things about console gaming is that for the most part it is more of a level playing field than PC gaming. I wouldn't want that to change. Keeping the 2 camps split is the right decision.

Windows Store is like the PS3 where you need double the space (it copies then installs) so double check.

There's a command you can run called "wsreset" I believe which may be worth a shot. Run it in admin command prompt.

Same issue, well apart from the fact I bought it from a cheaper region but the purchase was fine so I don't think that's related.

I can't even try it on another drive because the box to install apps to another hard drive is greyed out. -.-

I think I read in the other thread that no, cross-buy is NOT supported. If someone can confirm this, I can add it to the OP.
