Uncharted 4 street date broken as thieves steal copies

Me, and I'm sure others. It's my favorite franchise, single-handedly responsible for getting me back into gaming, and the MP could easily be the only game I play for the rest of this gen, PS4K included.

Right? Uncharted 2 multiplayer is like the one thing I could play for the rest of my life. The third person shooting mechanics and cover system feels so good.

Was my first ps3 game, back when I was 13

Lol yea it was a pretty meaningless statement, let me rephrase it, 2 questions:

1) opening is better than previous Uncharted games? (expecting an easy yes)

2) opening is better than TLOU? (the real question)

I don't really hold TLoU in a high a regard as the majority of GAF do.

But my god, that opening was amazing and emotionally wrecking. I don't see UC4 coming close purely because of the emotional impact of the game and the connotations it had for Joel and how it fed forward to the ending of the game.

If the manage to top it I will be amazed. I don't think they will, nor will I be going in the game hoping they do. I don't want to set myself up for a disappointment.

Great man, thanks.
People are morons, nothing you can do about it.

edit: deleted your quote so at least others wouldn't be spoiled, still pissed because of it.

Yea you're right, it's apples vs oranges, U4's opening can be amazing on its own way but obviously it can't reach the emotional impact of TLOU's, so it's about personal preference really.

Anyone in this thread been an Uncharted fan since day 1 or at least the first year?
I bought Drake's Fortune day 1 in 2007, but I thought it was kind of overrated. Then I bought Uncharted 2 on day 1 again, and didn't like it much, either.

I wasn't a Naughty Dog fan until The Last of Us, sorry. =/

The Nathan Drake Collection made me appreciate the series more, but I still don't think all that highly of 1-3.

Yes it's everything we have come to love.

I've barely scratched this games surface feels great.
My biggest fear was Sam feeling shoe horned in is absolutely not the case THANK FUCK.

I'm off now so any questions will be replied to in the morning.

Has there been many "dialogue choices" until the moment you are? Are they well implemented? Like, I know they wont be too relevant for the plot, but are they fun/makes sense?

2 was my first. Played Uncharted 2 the week before Uncharted 3 came out. Didn't play 1 until the collection, surprisingly enjoyed it, thought it would have felt terribly outdated after playing 2 and 3.

It plays a lot better in the collection to be honest. I really liked the remastered version

Sony plz move up the release a week kthxbye.

I've made a mistake as well as many others in this thread. If you or any other person didn't want to get spoiled you shouldn't be in this thread to begin with.

Interesting opinion. At least you gave them a shot :D

No one made this mistake, everyone used spoiler tags, I'm here for the impressions is it OK?

It always get me frustrated how there must be that idiot who doesn't get how to use spoiler tag.

I don't dislike them, I'm just not fanatical about them.

Uncharted's combat has always felt a bit off to me, but I did appreciate the story and characters, of course.

I feel like Naughty Dog has been learning from their experiences and that's why I'm so excited for Uncharted 4, though. It feels like the same great storytelling that has always been there, now with the benefit of a decade of third-person shooter development experience behind them.

Uncharted 4 MP Beta felt great, too. Really confirmed my hopes.

This post isn't by me, it's by a guy with the same username as me.

Hey man, calm down. No need to call people idiots...

I know you're annoyed (i'm too), but it's not the end of the world.

Yeah, it must really suck for them, although I spoiled myself on the easter egg (not something I consider important), I'm not going to spoil anything story related. Sad that a few assholes are trying to ruin it for people though, by telling them story spoilers.

I added the spoiler tag right after. Some people saw it yes, many others didn't. Again you're frustrated calling me an idiot when you shouldn't be in this thread in the first place. Spoilers are bound to happen regardless. Again my mistake. Calm down.

You could say sorry instead of telling people not to be in a general discussion thread about Uncharted... anyway I'm calm now.
spoiler tagged my post also, just in case ;)

Dude are you serious? edit his quote, not your reaction.

Quite unfortunate, and I feel sorry for them and the people getting spoiled. As far as I'm concern, spoilers hardly reduce my enjoyment of a game. I could literally watch a full playthrough of Uncharted 4 and experience the game like nothing happened.

Though, it's not a reason for getting myself spoiled, so I'm careful. I thank Unspoiler so far.

yikes. i didn't think this thread would turn into spoiler discussion...thought it about thieves and people hunting mom and pop stores.

i see the current page got tense so of course the gaf members wandering here were going to get flashed eventually.

I wonder if there will be a multiplayer OT cause i really don't want to tiptoe around tagged spoiler posts.
