Steam Link and Big Picture Mode combination.
You now have the best couch gaming experience.

Seriously the steam link is awesome.

How's the input lag? I just use an HDMI cable from the PC to my receiver, so the input lag is non-existent. I feel like running over a network connection is going to add some noticeable lag to the experience.

Make sure it's wired and it should be absolutely fine. Rocket League is flawless.

The lag will depend on your network configuration and hardware.

I have my PC (970) wired and the Steam link wired to a good quality Asus A68U.
I don't notice any lag at all on most games. Some, like the division, seem to screw with the streaming hardware.

If it's wired, the lag is basically non-existent. Wireless on the hand results in lots of stuttering.

Between the DOOM pre-load and now this, my this has been the worst day for large downloads yet.

Another 2hours till I can play, lol.

Avast is going crazy about the FFX/X-2 download, I've had seven magic_XXXX.dll files flagged as generic malware so far.

Eight now. And there's nine and ten.

I'm listing all of these as false positives and sending it to Avast, but it's still annoying.

Avast is terrible.

Steam link has been amazing for me, I used wired powerline ethernet adapters in my house. I can imagine it would not be a good experience wirelessly. So it's really dependent upon your networking environment.

In case anyone was worried, 4K (and up I'm assuming) is there. It queries Windows for the supported resolutions like any decent game should.

This golden thing was posted in the Steamgaf thread.

'Final Fantasy X/X-2 [OT] Dodging Lightning'

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD PC |OT| Something to Tidus over until the XV port

Both of these are amazing.

$30 is just too much, even $24 is too much. Will have to try the gmg or steam sale. They screwed that up pretty good.

With GMG 20% extra off I only paid 19. FFX is worth experiencing at least once, if not only to see where everything started to go wrong + god-tier music, even for a final fantasy game. FFX-2 has some of the best gameplay in the FF series, the class system is exceptional. Not quiiiiite as good as FF5 in my opinion, but still very good.

edit: My only beef is that X and X-2 should be separate.

Do we have any pics of the game at max settings? This poor PC-less guy would love to see. XD

How are you getting 19? Its $24 on GMG just like on steam for me.

Put it in your cart and use

ONESTO-WATCHS-AVES25

code at checkout- apparently for someone else that brought it down to 16. I used the 20OFF code to get 19$. Sadly I didn't refresh the thread again for a better code.

The game is zoomed in for me at higher resolution, like I only see the top right half of the game.

Edit: Also it has the japanese control scheme, wtf?

Any word on the framerate? I'd be in if I can play at 60FPS or higher (120FPS would be KILLER)

I heard the game is locked at 30fps because the original animations and music was bound to the fps. Double the FPS, double the music and game speed.
