You also win in game currency you can use.

Oh, that's right, I got a couple of duplicates during the beta and you could exchange them for money. If the pricing isn't too high it should be possible to get a bunch of stuff you actually want with relative ease.

Reaper is from the United States, we don't any characters from Mexico, I think. If Sombra is Pharah's mother, she is from Egypt, not Mexico...

But Sombra could be someone else, for what is worth.

Well, the classified documents in those screens are all in spanish. And Reaper's real name is also spanish (he worked for the US governement says in the wiki, but maybe he was born in Mexico, couldnt find where he was wrong, maybe you are right though). Reaper saying something about Sombra seem they were both from some part of latin America.
And of course, Sombra is shadow in spanish.

She could be Phara's mother, but that doesnt mean se had to be egyptian. Cervantes in Soul Calibur is a spaniard from Valencia, and her daughter is as british as someone can get.

Tryna figure out what the fuck a "support sniper" could possibly be.

I guess she could snipe debuffs or dot damage or something.

My immediate thoughts on the idea are not so much "sniper" as "scout" or "recon."

For example, a passive ability that causes you to reveal an enemy's location (like Hanzo or Widowmaker can with actives/ults) by maintaining line of sight while scoped in for a certain period of time (think binoculars in MGO), or auto-tagging an enemy if you land a shot. This seems like it'd be more appropriate for the character to have a semi-automatic precision weapon instead of a high-powered sniper rifle, to place less emphasis on getting huge damage headshots to obliterate single targets, and instead the ability to deal significant damage and tag enemies to reveal them to your allies. Something along the lines of a DMR.

As for other abilities, I could see supply drops happening - you hit the ability and wherever you're aiming gets marked for allies with a short countdown until health packs or armor appear there. Perhaps there could be a deployable she can use, that specifically obstructs enemy heroes from seeing your team through it - not blocking movement or anything, and isn't just an opaque wall, but specifically prevents enemies from seeing your team's characters through it. Could be countered by things that provide vision of enemies through walls (Hanzo/Widowmaker vision abilities) and could serve as an interesting way to shut down a pesky sniper, Bastion, turret or choke point.

Welp

They should really not release single hero for free or everybody will play them multiple time in the match. This avoid this they should release a couple or an handful of heroes together.

Who cares? There's single hero per team/match options - which I hope/assume is how ranked will work - and it's not like you can't punish teams with shitty comps like when people pick 3-6 Bastions.

You should really not assume that at all. In the 'tournament' situations I've watched team compositions change rapidly and sometimes multiple heroes lead to interesting strategies.

Last match I watched had a team supporting a dual Bastion setup vs 2x Lucio, 2x Reinhardt and 2x McCree. But the character choices fluctuated like crazy after that opening bit as the maps changed and they countered each other's strategies.

I just prefer creativity that stems from limitations as opposed to complete freedom. I'd rather see what teams can do if they can't pick X or Y instead of having the possibility of mirrored matches every now and then when a meta gets more nuanced.

McCree is countered by everything not in flashbang range. He has no escape, no self heal, no real mobility, not a small target.

But he isn't. In the hands of a skilled user, McCree beats most heroes even mid range. His damage falloff isn't that big in mid range. That's why everyone and their moms run McCree or even dual McCrees in competitive scene atm. He is the best close range hero and one of the best mid range heroes. His only hard counter atm is Widowmaker because McCree is slow and thus somewhat easy to be hit and McCree's damage falloff starts being pretty major in long range. Softer counters are Zarya and Hanzo.

Do we think they'll do some kind of cool event for every new hero/map they add in? Like a pre-launch event in-game sorta like how WoW does? Would be really cool.

I don't know when this will happen, but I really think that since there are, at present, 6 offensive, 6 defensive, 5 tanks, and 4 supports, that not long after launch 2 supports and 1 tank will arrive to bring it to an even 6 heroes in each class. If I had to guess, I'd say that Sombra will be a support sniper (but I don't think she'll be Pharah's mother), that Athena will be the other support, and that the tank will be either Doomfist or Soundquake.

I've seen all the Sombra name leaks, but where are these other 3 names coming from?

I didn't see anyone mention this yet, but Danny O'Dwyer, the source of 5) and 6), talks about this thread in his latest video.

Basically, they were really lenient about filming in that room and they were testing a lot of skins so he just assumed it was a Widow skin at the time.

Am I the only one who is seeing a bird in the kid's drawing? Like, stumpy bird legs, a beak, tail feathers, plus the name "birst" (assuming the kid understands basic puns and that isn't just another misspelling) and the wings.

If I was that kid, I'd probably be a little annoyed at the misinterpretation.
