Yeah, I'm starting to think that the ones in the photo posted earlier are the last surviving members of the Squad.

I'm assuming that Katana is like Rick Flag in that she won't have a bomb in her neck (since she's acting as Flag's bodyguard), right?

Yup. Katana's not a villain or prisoner, so she doesn't need a bomb in her neck. She's working for Rick Flag and Amanda Waller, and they said that she's loyal to them.

She's there to protect Rick Flag and keep Task Force X in line.

Also, just noticed that Soul Calibur edit. Nice work, KDash.

Thanks! Took me quite a while to do it.

Best Buy always gets the nice steelbooks.

Another note, weeks back JK Simmons said he starts working on JL this month. The production has been very quiet. Presumably it's filming at the moment and several of the cast members have been in London. Makes me question what's going on with Mera amid all the controversy.

I assumed as much, though I'd guess that Katana may have second-thoughts about Waller's methods later in the film. Though I'm curious to see how established she is as a hero within the context of the DCEU.

NOOOOO why you gotta make me choose? Fuck!

Karen F. is so damn cute, I would hate if they killed her off. I also didn't see any real roles on her IMDB last time I checked. Pretty cool that they are using a completely unknown Asian actress and giving her such a big role (presumably)

Atmos isn't 5.1....

I don't really see any hope in what he said. Amell flat out said they told him they don't have plans for the character. The 'things change' is probably just him holding out the hope.

Good. After watching all these years of Arrow, he's not a good Arrow. Rather have Charlie Hunnam play him.

I have hopes if they ever do GA in the movie universe he's actually y'know, like Oliver in the comics and not stoic. Also I'm of the opinion that the TV show actors shouldn't play them in the movies, so I agree. Hunnam does look the part damn well.

Marketing has begun then. Alright prepare for fake screening impressions.

Side note, I still think its funny this is the movie after BvS, Super Depressing film to "Ballroom Blitz". Not Complaining, like that they are taking a risk on this

Oh you folks discuss the magazine covers, but ignore my posters!

But the magazine cover is awesome. Would buy a clean version of that Joker one

Seems Margot did some of her own stunts

Got to say, a little surprised pushing out the Ultimate Edition in the first wave.

Assumed would sell the normal cut.

And then sometime early next year release the Ultimate/Uncut/Director's version

They might have been able to get away with that if the theatrical cut was better received.

WB are definitely trying to push the Ultimate Cut as the version to see.

Even for the 4K version, only the Ultimate Cut will be in 4K, not the theatrical.

They are actually not releasing the theatrical stand alone. They want to retcon it out of existence. Well, of course the UC disks still have it, but still, the intent is palpable.

Heroic Hollywood has this quote from Affleck, and THANK GOD, I fully agree with him...

I think what I would do, what I probably would do, is in some ways what Zack did with this movie, which is to borrow certain things from the great comic books, but create an original story around it because I wouldn’t want the fans to already know the story and be familiar, but I would borrow, steal, great things that have been done before in the comics.

There is still hope for a Green Arrow movie! They should do something with that Green Arrow: Escape from Supermax storyline.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaYCUfSu1U4

A) Warner Bros will never make a Green Arrow starring Stephen Amell.

B) If Warners were actively planning/developing a Green Arrow film much like they are with Booster Gold and Lobo (going as far as to assign writers) Amell wouldn't know anything about it. Just because he plays the character on a TV show doesn't make him privy to what goes on in WB.

Given that WB are introducing Black Canary in the first Justice League film (apparently) I think it's only a matter of time before we get a cinematic Green Arrow.

Damn. I'm going have to get the Target version. I'm actually afraid of what the final product will be though,. I feel they really dropped the ball with Star Wars: The Force Awakens exclusive they had. I want that BvS artbook though.

Also in slightly related news - hearing rumblings that WB are about to announce that the Watchmen Ultimate & Director's Cuts are getting a 4K release same day as BvS.
