Guys, remember my name when Agent's gonna re-revealed next week - God I'm gonna die + next Red dead. This must be a dream

Holy shit, this thread just got really interesting. E3 hype is starting to kick in. 8 days away, baby!!!

What would make it Dreams 2.0 for me:
Crash revival
Agent (PS4 console exclusivity)
Red Dead 3
Dead Don't Ride reveal
God Of War 4 reveal
Bloodborne 2 reveal
Sucker Punch's Spiderman game

And of course we will still get gameplay demoes of games already announced like The Last Guardian and Horizon Zero Dawn. If by slight chance we also get stuff like TLOU 2 or Kojima's new game, I will completely lose my mind.

Edit: Knew I forgot a few. So many games to be hyped about!

I think it is way too early. Maybe a tease next year.

I wouldn't be surprised if they bring him out for a few minutes, if for no other reason than to remind everyone that they locked up Kojima. Maybe he'll show a bit of concept art or something.

It's going to really suck if all we see of Crash is Shawn Layden's t-shirt again.

He's already got this year's outfit ready.

I'm hoping we get beta info this week.

I think it will be at the conference in a low-key fashion. Probably turn up during the VR segment to confirm a beta date and VR support.

I'm not sure you've understood what I mean. We've only seen the creative side so far but they're making a game with those creation tools. I think we'll see that game. LBP went down extraordinarily well when it was first shown so I'm expecting more than just a low key reveal.

Has no one considered we'll likely get to see Dreams: The Game?

I'm very interested in that. The creation stuff looks wild and love that sort of thing, but we haven't seen much more than montage snippets of games that aren't just 3rd person walking simulators. Really hope they get to show that aspect off really soon, 'cause a lot of folks still think it's just a sculpting program.

I hope there's more focus on exclusive games for PS platforms at Sony's E3.

Their E3 conferences are turning into a dumping ground for huge AAA multiplat games, specifically by companies who don't bother hosting conferences of their own.

While I sort of agree, Sony always has a sizable segement dedicated to first party games (usually the opening of the show) and it's been quite awhile since their closing game wasn't first party.

Like last year they had the triple-whammy of The Last Guardian, Horizon, and Dreams. I expect them to come out of the gate swinging with Dead Don't Ride, TLG's release date, Horizon demo, and probably something else.

Yeah, that's why I think they need to show it. Those people who don't understand would probably have had exactly the same problem if MM had only showed them building levels with the tools first and not showed the gameplay.

They only have Bend and SSM right now to show their shit. ND and SP, nah. Too early.

I bet we end up seeing these two first party titles. Will be a bummer if all they show are demos from announced first parties.

On the first-party front, I'd expect two announcements (Dead Don't Ride, God of War IV) and a big chunk of Horizon: Zero Dawn gameplay. The Last Guardian will be dated via a new trailer as well.

I don't expect much else from first-party specifically this year. They need to spread the stuff out between Gamescom and PGW, too.

Obviously we all want to see new games, but if they announce Bend and SSM and show updates for some of their other high-profile releases, I'll be happy. This is in large part because I actually love God of War.

Also you never know what kind of deals Sony may be cutting behind the scenes. Possibly a new From exclusive..?

I might be wrong, but they haven't really announced huge first party titles at Gamescom ever, right?

I'd much prefer Bully 2 than Agent. I mean how much different could Agent possibly be from GTA V or Max Payne? Bully 2 would be vastly different.

I guess it depends on what you mean by huge. Resistance 3, R&C: All 4 One, Wild, and Puppeteer were all announced there. And while not gamescom, last year they announced GT Sport and Detroit at PGW, which was their European replacement for gamescom.

Pretty much. I only care for GoW4 this E3 along with Red Dead. They can just announce those two with gameplay trailers, and I'll be happy.

Resistance 3 and Wild are probably the biggest game they've announced at Gamescom. But if PGW sends a trend we could start seeing more big games at the SIEE shows.

I expect Media Molecule will be there.

They will open up by showing Dreams gameplay. The gameplay will show the character to be a stapler and involve the stapler walking to a switch and pressing a button. The gameplay demo will end, and they will move onto the creation part which shows them creating said stapler. This will last half an hour.

I know R* usually announces their games a year earlier (at least), but how amazing would it be if they announced it and then said Fall 2016.

God dammit the hype is getting to me.

I think 2015 was the first year Sony really "got" what gamers want out of an E3 conference. Very little droning about non-gaming related stuff, and the only thing that was (PlayStation Vue) looked like a great deal (I don't know if it actually is, I'm not in the US).

Expect the trend to continue. They're doing the movie theatre thing again so there's bound to be something for people to be excited about that will no doubt have reaction videos blowing up the internet like FF7R last year. I expect a real push for VR this time around.

Do people really expect R* to announce.

Red dead 3.
Red dead remaster.
Agent.

All at the same time? Nah that's not how R* works.

It'll be RD3 announced for April 2017 and RD:R for winter this year. Agent is dead and buried.

I think they are doing great since they have 4 Press in a single year.

I think we'll get the RDR remaster this summer/fall and they'll follow that up with RDR2 mid-2017.
