Watch Dogs 2 Trailer Leaks on Twitch

I watched it 3 times now.

Depending on the overall tone. This could be a pretty dope game.

Will definitely wait and see.

Because gameplay is boring to look at. If you have thirty seconds to sell someone on a game, it's smart to do a theme/experience trailer based on CG or pre rendered stuff. Sell a potential experience or feeling you will have during the game, not the core gameplay loop.

Thirty seconds it not much, and you have to grab people's interest. It's difficult to do that with gameplay.

That's true. I guess what I mean is that it'd be cool if everyone moved away from the CG trailers and instead focused on their cinematics and showing off gameplay with different camera angles and such. Like what they did with Battlefield 1.

Cause it's a dumb trailer/ad whatever. That wouldn't make me buy the game.
Believe it or not, not all ads are targeted to every user out there.

Some people might like this stuff. Also maybe they have different kinds of ads going on with different vibes? This is leaked and we know absolutely nothing about the game, give them a break.

Personally the edgy thing does nothing for me, but I'm still fairly interested in what this game could become.

Edit: I find it more interesting to try to even go with something with this mood rather than the safer "cool (heh) and mature guy being quiet and hacking while he makes some serious face*. This at least has the chance to become something unique.

Could have told me that was a trailer for the Division and I wouldn't have questioned it

I enjoyed the first game but they'd have to improve a lot for me to get this one at launch

I'm already regretting giving it a second chance. Hopefully, the longer version isn't as bad, I do like that it at least seems to be taking itself way less serious though.

I'm not allowed to voice my opinion? You asked a question and I answered. Who knows the main trailer could be the greatest trailer of all time. What I'm saying is that was not that.

I bought WD and actually for the most part enjoyed it. So this is relevant to my interests.

Most of Nintendo's games are advertised with the actual game engine showing gameplay. So... I dunno.

The commercials I stumble on for their games on YouTube is mostly a mix of live action and CG selling an experience. But I do not live in the US, so maybe the television commercials are different to the stuff I saw on YT, or I just saw only a tiny amount of the commercials.

I think it looks fun from what I could tell. Definitely more interested in this than I was the original.

No game-play, CG. Are they expecting the thing to sell solely based off the name?
Holy shit they haven't even fucking revealed the thing. They aren't trying to sell anything yet. I didn't even like the first game but I swear, people are taking every chance they can to shit on this one when all we have to go on is a leaked ad and a leaked 360p 30 second trailer.

Looks like Mr. Robot the video game. I have extremely low expectations for this game, game theme looks better than I expected (WD1 was so BORING!) so I guess thats something.

So...edgy angry anti system guys + parkour + brig brother watching you + parties

No, not my thing to be honest.

I think the problem with Ubi games is that they keep trying to set them in US locals but they can't shake the euro feel to them. They feel like European actors trying really hard to act American but fall short, know what I mean?

The ubisoft pile on is getting really freaking tiring at this point honestly

Agreed.

Happens in every single Ubi-thread, especially ones about this game. Lots of familiar faces popping into multiple threads to remind everyone that they decided they hated the game before it's officially announced.

this game is coming out in November which means first submission is probably 3-3.5 months away tops, content lock has probably already happened or about to happen so they can focus on bug fixing, optimization, and polish.

And there's not a single gameplay shot in that video.

Could be the NERD song but I can get behind this. Looks fun and interesting.

No need to take everything so seriously.

I feel bad for Sony or Microsoft if either has a marketing deal for the game. So much better things they could spend time or money on.

I mean sure, alot of people aren't fans of what they saw, but WD1 was pretty sucessful.
I don't think either of them would be truly sad about it.

Mr.Robot was great though, but hardly something you can make a game from.

It's a thirty second commercial. You'll see gameplay in less then a week.

Yup. Either hardware manufacturer would love to be associated with one of the largest IP in is generation.

Setting and premise looks like dog shit. That's enough for me to not be interested in a game.

You know the premise already? Damn, mind telling us some of your leaks?

The thread is basically people overreacting to a 30 second ad and putting their final thoughts on a game before seeing an actual trailer.

Watch Dogs 3 in Montreal, might as well!
