Didn't catch that. Fucking hype.

Yo, Grodd, Supergirl and Atrocitus? This roster's shaping up well already.

Gimme Reverse Flash and Terry and this'll be Day Zero for me.

The Gear System uses RPG-like mechanics to reward you with loot drops every time you play the game. With each loot drop, you will earn character-specific gear to outfit and power up your roster – changing not only the look of each character, but your fight strategy and your personal approach to every match. As you gear up your characters, you’re building a roster of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains that reflects your choices, and your preferences, which can be vastly different than your opponents. A few play sessions in, you can expect your Aquaman to look and play different than anyone else’s Aquaman you may come across.

Ew. That sounds like SFxT gems, only worse.

Awesome trailer even if it is CGI, I'm assuming the armor system will be similar to MKXs Stances?

Basically each character will have different armor modes to choose from at character select? Can't wait to see gameplay.

Edit* never mind, seems like it's some kind of RPG mechanic which is even cooler for a fighting game depending on how it's implemented. I'm ok if this is aimed at the casual fighting game fans since Street Fighter went the opposite direction.

Oh shit, this looks pretty good.

I gotta imagine the gear system will break the tourney scene (unless there's an all-vanilla mode or something), but as someone who plays a lot of fighting games solo, this oughta give me a ton of reason to come back.

The 90s kid in me who endured multiple armor-variation action figures is actually kinda hyped for all this goofy gear shit.

It's so dark, it's literally in a sewer and you can't see shit.

This is like a parody of itself now. Everyone gets an armored redesign.

I think the gear system is a way to do away with skins (the gear can have the looks of certain skins like the Arkham Knight looking Batman in the trailer) as well as an expanded fighting style from MK10 to be more casual friendly. Like the stances in MK10 I don't expect it to change too much in terms of gameplay and it's more cosmetic friendly than anything.

Early information about the armor system suggests this game may be DOA in regards to the competitive scene. Though we still need to see to what extent it affects the gameplay.

But Netherrealm fighters are all about the solo content so bring it on!! Day one!!

It's good that there is no PC version. It's better than releasing a version full of problems and lack of support.

They just don't give a fuck and now they are not even trying to hide it.
