If you've been paying attention to gaming rumors the last week you already knew DR4 was coming. I mean we knew it was Frank West, in Willamette, and had a snowy christmas setting.

From what I hear this leak happened a little while ago and it seems they knew what had leaked... maybe they built the conference around this?

You guys think MS will have a bunch more timed exclusives this e3? I'm really hoping they don't pull the same stunt they did with ROTR with games like Forza Horizon 3, in terms of releasing exclusively on xbox and then PC 6 months later. I still have my xbox one but have switched to pc gaming this month and hoping MS increases PC support this e3.

Like was mentioned pages back, typically the companies plan for potential leaks by having stuff on reserve that they may not have planned to announce originally.

It takes time to switch from a Xbox One pipeline to a Xbox One+Win10 one, this year should show the results from the pipeline switch with games on both platforms on the same day.

That's why they've been focusing on UWP, it streamlines that pipeline.

Once it's on the internet, it stays on the internet.

With this kind of response, it is kinda easy to surmise they probably knew this might happen and decided to try and make a conference that wouldn't be completely spoiled by it.

I doubt it. They only have so much content. They can't make more content appear. No company wants to be out of control of their marketing. Remember when pretty much all of Sonys conf leaked two years ago and then you watched the conference and yup it was everything that was already leaked

You act as if any of this is really "so much content".

All we have are a bunch of PR screenshots of games, nothing close to gameplay trailers or demos like will be shown at the conference.

Let alone actual gameplay details and features.

Make a leak thread or something, I've been enjoying this thread for quite a few days now and I really don't like the leaks anymore.

What do people expect them to respond to the leaks? "oh nooo our conference is ruined?"

The damage is done, might aswell brush it off in public but you can bet your ass they're all pissed deep down.
