Zelda U/NX promo image leaks from Amazon.com

Thing I'm most looking forward to this Tuesday is an end to all this ridiculous 'OMG LINK IS MALE/FEMALE/TRANS/A DOG' talk. I do not give a fuck either way but I am incredibly tired of every new piece of info/art devolving into microscopically analysing pictures in search of possible bust lines.

Alternatively, they're just using the only two pieces of art that have been officially revealed before E3

what other pieces of Zelda artwork is there that Nintendo's revealed? It's only those two.

Why not epona then? Why just their two faces? Why both of them? Seems obvious to me

that there is some duality worth pointing out between the two figures. Otherwise it's a clumsy design decision imo.

Maybe it's young/old link. Maybe it's siblings. Maybe is male/female. Dunno.

But I've a feeling there will be some significance between the two revealed come Tuesday.

Our culture is so bent on identity that we miss the point of just being.

Detective-GAF needs to move their focus back to the leaked concept art and stop getting distracted by the sisters lanyard.

I've been viewing the concept art very closely, put it through every tool I can think of, and I think I can now conclude with great confidence that it's from Zelda U.

That will be great, but the terrible truth is that if there is a female option for Link, the discussions, not necessarily here on GAF but on the internet in general, will get ugly. And it wouldn't end, not for a long time.

I'm still waiting for someone to find the trademark for the game's title. Most likely someone will find it on Monday or Tuesday morning before the Treehouse.

If this is actually from the Zelda NX version, you're gonna have to eat so much crow.

Lol at the overreactions from one promo image.

God I hope this game won't use those shitty AC/UC climbing mechanics

First off, no one gives a shit about Epona.

Second, they're the same character as both pieces of art have the same body type, clothes, armor, etc.

not really the eyebrows, nose, eyes, and mouth are different.

No they are not, its just a different angle and a different expression, and im pretty sure this is the same dude with the hood on

What would even be the point of having a female character that looks just like the male version with at best subtle differences?

Hope more stuff doesn't get leaked by tuesday. I want to experience that genuine feel of surprise and amazement when they show Zelda.

It would be the same if there wasn't anyway.
