The Walking Dead Season 3 Teaser

Visually, between this and those Batman screenshots, I'm just glad it seems Telltale has really spruced their tech game up. I love their writing but man, I'm playing through Game of Thrones for the first time now and that game looks bad.

They need to just get a new engine altogether. That thing is ancient.
That said, teenage Clem, my tears are ready.

Really like Clem's design here.

Cautiously optimistic about season 3. Season 2 had its moments but was disappointing for the most part with the writing being all over the place. Michonne was so low effort as well. Graphically its looking better but until I see it running I just can't get hype.

Really interested to see how they ignore the big choices of the second season. My guess is WALKING DEAD SEASON 2 SPOILERS
She'll visit an unmarked grave and mournfully go "Kenny..." or "Jane..." boom they've saved themselves the hassle of recording two sets of dialogue and actually making player choices meaningful.

Whoever the fuck hurt my little girl better die a brutal and agonizing death.

On the other hand, ignoring the missing finger, Clem looks great.

Probably the most attached I've been to a character in a very long time. GIVE ME MORE CLEMENTINE! An empowered black female protagonist? Telltale Games doing the Lord's work.

With a few more years on her hopefully she makes more sense as a player character. It was ridiculous how fully grown adults were relying on this little girl for things they really shouldn't have just so the player can have some agency.

Hopefully it'll be on Season 1 tier quality again. I was not impressed with Season 2 or the dev team's work on Game of Thrones.

This looks good, although I'm eh on the two player concept. It worked for Tales, but why the fuck would I want to play as some random guy in the third season of this game? I'd rather it would just be Clem.

Season 2 had a flaw of having me not really get attached to the characters because of a lack of development, and killing off the few characters I actually liked. The problem was everyone got killed and I expected them to meaning no emotional payback came from it.

Also I'm guessing
they're going to rescue a kidnapped Alvin Jr maybe? Christa better finally show up this season.

Interesting how the zombie and one of the main protags are marked with the same tattoos. I wonder if something fucked up happened at the
reserve that Kenny delivers Clem to in the Kenny ending
.

Hopefully they make better use of Clem this time. I like her, it just always felt odd that all these adults had to keep relying on this young girl. But whatever, I'll definitely get it.

Better the devil you know. Both of the "choice" characters were crazy but I got the sense that he would always have Clem's back regardless. With a psychotic rage against a stranger here and there.

Yeah, the other choice was just as crazy if not more so, not sure why people give her a pass. And Kenny proves himself in his ending.

For my season 2 ending I
had Jane kill Kenny and then abandoned Jane to go off with AJ by myself. Both of them I could not handle to be around, and even during season 1 Kenny annoyed me for getting pissy at Lee for the slightest signs that he wasn't completely 100% with him and this was before his family got killed.

Besides, regardless of what ending you got
it's been years from the looks of it. Odds are we'll just get dialogue on what happened from Clem to explain all that went down if you were with Kenny, Jane, yourself, at Wellington, or not, at the hardware store, if you let the family in or not, etc. Telltale has sort of giving me a feeling that they wouldn't actually have so many separate scenes done for a prologue given their...less than stellar 'your choices matter' work.

Isn't
Christa dead? I remember being heavely implied that she died
At most
she's unknown. She and Clem got separated at the start with gunshots fired although you can have Clem shout a warning out, with their plan being Wellington I believe which you can go to in one of the endings. But other than that, it's undetermined of what happened to her.

Oh, man. I knew this was coming, but to finally see something of it makes me so excited! I can't wait to see what Clementine has been up to since S2. This is definitely one of my most anticipated games of the year. Autumn can't come quickly enough!

My most anticipated game! Hope they can keep up the quality from seasons 1 and 2. Also I don't see why anyone would not want to play as Clem, play a different series then because it has always been her story.

Hard for me to get excited after the disappointment of season 2. The new engine does look a lot better, though.

Not that choices matter bit I wonder how they're going to handle s2 and s1 imports. They can't honestly expect people to buy and replay the games if their audience has moved on to different platforms. Course this doesn't really affect PC players.

Awesome stuff. Look forward to this. This is one game I know my girl will watch me play. We loved the first two.

Season 2 was okay. Poor character development and some baffling character motivations
WTF Mike and Bonnie
. Still excited for the 3rd.

Yea, seeing older Clem was kinda emotional.

Visuals are one thing, yea, I hope the game runs well. That's almost more important. Season 2 of The Walking Dead crashed multiple times for me, which, for a game that relies on harrowing decision making and character moments, is really unacceptable.

Optimistic though. Telltale are good peoples.

Episode 4 of Season 2 was such a piece of shit that it made me give up on the series as a whole I think :/

-Killing a character offscreen
-Main drama in episode comes from two people having such good sex that they can't hear the approaching zombie horde.
-Literally dropping a bridge on a character to kill her like a few minutes after you decided to save her and after she got no character development in the series.
