I hope there's a mode with stricter time constraints than 3 had. I never felt the time pressure in 3 that the first 2 had.
This game isn't a remake of dr1 tho
DR4 is a reimagining, so things like that are open to be changed. Best not to think about this as being consistent with the first game.
Man why do we always have to have weird exclusivity stuff with Microsoft now. If it is console exclusive but coming to steam say console exclusive that have used console exclusive before. Maybe Capcom will definitively clear this up because it's just silly.

The IGN E3 YouTube channel has an interview, and they said it's not a remake and continues the story.
They said there's a reason for him to go back, but they aren't saying anymore.
They didn't even say exclusive at all at the Dead Rising part. It just said, Coming To.
I know I am so confused. The box art says exclusive but the conference and the Press release only saying coming to. If it was getting a steam release you would think they would call it a console exclusive and also coming to W10. Since they did that on other releases. I just have no clue what's going on. However I am looking forward to the new setting it sounds really fun.
Maybe but the box art says exclusive they don't usually use that on timed ones.

They didn't say anything about other platforms on the IGN interview, but Aaron Greenberg was there, so they wouldn't address it there in that case. They only referenced XB1 and Win10 development.

Capcom is high profile enough to make it onto Steam (at least I hope).
I can guarantee you that State of Decay 2 and other non-AAA stuff will be locked into the Windows Store and UWA.
I don't think crossplay or crossbuy will work unless it's locked to the Windows Store as UWA.

I'd be honestly surprised if they didn't.
Be wary, Dead Rising 3 is locked to 30 by default but can be unlocked with an INI. The game runs like garbage for the most part unfortunately. Impossible to maintain 60 on high end hardware
