Surely they are going to make an Elite with bluetooth right?
From what I've heard, it won't but that might change.I was under the impression that the gears 4 elite controller would be the first
Having recently gotten an X1, why would someone want a $120 controller?

Go for it and if worst comes to worst, I'll be your shoulder button to cry on.Have they fixed the quality issues, or do these things still break apart after six months?
My day 1 is fine. Not sure what this is about.Have they fixed the quality issues, or do these things still break apart after six months?
Because you have the money and appreciate playing with the best controller ever made.Having recently gotten an X1, why would someone want a $120 controller?

50% break after two hoursHave they fixed the quality issues, or do these things still break apart after six months?
I haven't had any issues so far with my Elite controller after about 6 months, but I will say that it's ridiculous that a controller this expensive only comes with a 90 day warranty.

Every thread the same old shit; you either have substantial data or it's just concerned trolling.Have they fixed the quality issues, or do these things still break apart after six months?
I've literally never heard quality complaints about these until this thread. Not saying they're wrong, but wtf? Anecdotally, I've used mine for hundreds of hours and it will works great.
Can you change the link to Amazon Smile?Price matched Toys R Us.

I have had mine since launch and no issues. My wife has had for about 9 months and no issues.Have they fixed the quality issues, or do these things still break apart after six months?
That's a little over dramatic. But yes the RB and LB are the same and prone to break just like the triggers in the DS4 I keep spare parts for both.Have they fixed the quality issues, or do these things still break apart after six months?
I'm going to once they revise the bumpers which I believe the newer model does from my seeing it and hands on in the Microsoft storeLiterally the best control pad I have ever used. I'm tempted to get another one.

Still too much for a controller.

Besides some broken units here and there I don't think there are QC issues. Just some vocal gaffers posting the same picture on every Elite thread. Compared to the DS4 it's a tank.
So you can recapture the 360 feeling of having expensive hardware stop working after a few months.
There's a guy that made compilation videos of defective PS4's and Xbox One's, and recently he made a video with defective elite controllers. Now any time someone mentions the elite controller on any forum, that video gets linked to try to convince people not to buy them.
Mine as well as many others is perfect. What are you speaking of? The failure rate of most electronic hardware? Nah, you are a troll.

Depends how often you play. Probably best to get added insurance.

The newer controllers that will ship with the S model feel like the bumpers are different than the current ones.
It sucks that the warranty is only 90 days on both companies controller and they always break after that time it seems.
BUT the elite is still a fantastic controller otherwise. I've become quite the pro at working on both systems controllers. Bastards...
It's not a bad price for sure, but the quality issues still remain unfortunately, at least in my experience. On my controller, the right arrow on the dpad stopped working after a few months.
Microsoft told me that I can buy another one for $150 after speaking with online chat and calling them about it since I'm beyond the 90 days of warranty it came with.
Umm a $120 video games controller is considered a deal now?
Did I accidentally get time wraped to year 2076?
Maybe in America but it has to be 12 months in the UK.
But yeah if it's 90 days in America that is absolutely bullshit.
