It's a bug. The server can't handle it if too many attacks are tapped at a super fast pace. Tap at the end of each attack animation and it should clear up fine.

Yeah, they have different silhouettes. My area has a ton of Nidorans both male and female. Most of the time all I get are Nidoran or Paras.

One pops up every 5 minutes if you're standing still. I don't think walking helps. It just adds the ones you would find anyways to the one every 5 minutes I think.

This isn't true, it can happen even when you take your time too.i was trying to take a gym and made sure to wait until each attack finished (risking death because of it) and still had it happen to me.
The only thing we've been told is "soon", nothing else. People are going crazy at the Niantic Japan guy, haha

After hearing you should evolve instead of leveling I evolved my pidgey and that pushed me to level 5.

Is there a benefit to catching multiple Pokémon like catching more Oddish when I already have one?
Should I power up a Pokémon before evolving it? I powered up Charmander one time.
How hard is it to get a Dratini? Dragonite is my favorite Pokémon so I would like to catch and raise one as soon as possible.

Must just be server issues, I think sometimes if your signal goes or you get server issues while doing something it can sometimes get stuck and end up looping the problem needing you to close the app and reload.
At least that's the impression i get when things have gone wrong a few times.

your GPS data will get off every so often which when it corrects itself it runs around and counts in game. I got .06KM from like 10 minutes of sitting in my chair earlier today lol.

Motherfucking Red Team trying to get a foothold in my town. Went around with my roommates and retook every gym in my city. My fiance has like 4 ~700 CP Jolteons at each one downtown. My other roommate has some absurdly strong ones at the rest.

yep. There is actually no functionality at all without the app open. Nothing gets pushed OS level so far as I can tell, I have no idea how the Go Plus will work.

GPS sway is a thing. It happens.
By catching the same Pokemon multiple times, you can transfer them to get more Pokefood of that Pokemon which allows you to evolve and level up your Pokemon.
Google account. I've logged on multiple deviced it all carries over.

The game was offline-ish when I was riding earlier today and wanted to check. Once thing I can tell you for sure is that any time you're moving slowly enough on the bike it will count as "steps", definitely. What the limit of max speed is before it stops considering you to earn distance isn't known for sure yet I don't think.

You get 3 when you catch a Pokemon.
I ran into the guy on Red team who we took the gyms from just now. There is a Pokestop at the gazebo next to my house and I stuck a Lure there so a bunch of people were hanging out. He just happened to be one of them. Hope he enjoys trying to retake them.
Well, each pokemon of the type you need is 4 candy basically. 3 when you catch it and 1 for transferring. So 50 candy is 13 captures of that poke or so.
I'd evolve first. I think the more you power up, the more material it takes to evolve the Pokemon.

I've been doing it before based on the idea that there is less of a range to traverse when Pokemon are in their first form and it costs more Stardust later on. I might be missing out on some knowledge though.
That's not true, but it's still better to just evolve first anyway.
