I have Dead Rising on 360, never finished it, I have DR2 too on pc and never got into it... I'll probably get 1 again..

I have a 670 so I'm in a similar boat. And it's like- if I'm gonna splurge on a new card, I might as well get something that will be a notable improvement as opposed to maintaining the status quo. Although the 1070 is only 30-40% faster than the 1060, so maybe if the latter drops to $200-250 during the holidays I'd get it instead. Something about compound interest and the value of a dollar in a year's time.

well good thing is that the longer i wait the better the upgrade will be, i'm not in a rush to play the few new games at good framerate

That's a thing for me too. I can still play new games, just at low-medium settings at 30fps. And they generally look better than what's on my PS4.

What you need to do if Sega of Japan doesn't bother at all? That's the difference between them and Capcom.

Fixed.
Seriously, for all of SEGA EU's faults at least their hearts are in the right place.
SEGA of Japan couldn't care less about their legacy, least that's the impression I'm getting from them nowadays.

I'm still waiting for them to end that "investigation" about Shenmue Remastered, but probably they hired Inspector Gadget.

Capcom wants to revisit their old IP. Sega, however, doesn't have that high on their priorities list.

Much simple: Capcom loves easy money (exactly what Remastered provides). If you consider, also, a Remaster in REmake and DR cases bring those titles on a platform different than console (PC), a lot of people didn't play those titles, so of course the games sell well. But Sega doesn't care, the best they can do is bring another Sonic port nobody asked for.

All they wanted was for us to buy Sonic Lost World. But we're just men.

Eh, I bought for 10€ Lost World and regretted it. Terrible, terrible game. Like burning money has a deeper meaning than buying that game.

I posted a short first impressions of the PC version of I am Setsuna in its thread:
Here's a short PC version impression/evaluation

The game starts with this settings screen:
setsuna_2016_07_19_1832kqk.png

The list of resolutions appears to be fixed, but at least they cover the common bases and go up to 4k. In-game, the visuals are clearly rendered at native res, and it uses pretty decent AA.

It runs at a locked 60 FPS while putting my GPU to sleep (<7% usage at 2560x1440) and my CPU is napping off too (13% usage on one core), so it's hard to make performance statements other than that it should be toaster-approved.

Honestly love the feeling of the intro of the game, let's see if it keeps up.

God fucking damnit I am Setsuna is on Unity, which means, surprise, it has issues with Xbox One controllers, and there's no fix for wireless users. MS or Unity need to get on this shit already, it's ridiculous.

I can't believe Microsoft fucked up their Xbox One drivers. Why isn't it the same as Xbox 360 one ? Everytime I read about these issues, I change my mind about going for XB1 controller.

You tried? Not every Unity game is affected so there are way around the issue.

Try this: plug the controller only when you are in-game, not in the menu. With FFIX worked.

Yeah, the fix involves changing the drivers for the controller in the control panel but the wireless dongle doesn't show up as a controller in CP, just as the dongle so it can't be overriden.

I know it's not every Unity game, but it does seem like 80 percent of recent ones. Ori Definitive is the only recent one I've played that didn't have the issue at launch. This, Anima, Cornerstone, My Night Job, and one other I'm forgetting had it. Cornerstone and Night Job patched it eventually so it's clear there's some sort of fix on the development end that can be deployed, and it SHOULD be widely known enough by Unity to inform their developers about it that it shouldn't be happening for three+ months now. It's not like it would be hard to test for. The other examples I mentioned are extremely low budget games with no publishers, so it's kinda forgivable there. Shouldn't be happening to a 40 dollar Square Enix release.

That's why I always stick with first party controllers.

If Capcom can rerelease Dead Rising, then Sega can remaster Bayonetta/Vanquish.

Let's do this.

Nah, SEGA is stupid. Capcom followed Dragon's Dogma with another highly requested game. What did SEGA do after VC sold over 500k ? You woukd think they'd listen to the people and release one of these highly requested Japanese games ? LOLNO let's just release a shitty Sonic game no one asked for. I see two possibilities in November: SEGA releases another port no one asked for or another Sonic game like Unleashed. OR, SEGA doesn't released anything following Lost World bomba because clearly, it's not SEGA's fault :")

Oh wow I hit a fatigue wall with Fallout 4, think its the constant lack of resources when building my settlement. I'm trying to build an awesome base made out of glass at Spectacle Island but I'm out of glass constantly. Starting to regret me skipping all those bottles on my 100 hour gameplay before I started again.

I bought like 10 games over the summer Steam sale (of which I've beaten 3, woooo), and yet my wishlist is somehow almost 10 games bigger than it was during the sale now. This is all your fault SteamGAF

Unleashed is decent and Colors is good. I'd be fine with either.

but once again I'll say this because you kids never learn and keep repeating the same stupid shit over and over again:
You are going nowhere with this SEGA port discussion, so stop wasting your braincells on it.
You can't keep expecting the worst for the best to happen. Just stfu about it.
