Bleach Manga |OT| Return of the King

Only two more chapters? WOW, what a fucking tragedy. I'm not even sorry, Kubo brought this to himself dragging the story with a lot of useless things. This is one of the worst mangas I've ever read as far as the whole package is concerned.

It's even more pathetic considering how good the first three arcs were, with interesting characters, interesting powers and good world building. Kubo should stick to drawing and never again write a story.

We need to re purpose this, the best thing Bleach has given us in years.

Why have I not seen this before? Haha

Yhwach sure called the soul king "father" when he stabbed it. Too bad we'll get no follow-up on that ever!!!

Really the most we can hope for now is a databook or light novel that just dumps answers to all the unresolved plotpoints.

Wait, he's actually
dead
or the chapter ends on
him getting cut in half
?

Seeing as 685 is supposed to be the "legendary super climax," it's probably the latter. Seriously that last chapter better be long. If it's like any other Bleach chapter it'll be read in less than a minute and that's gonna leave like zero closure. We still don't know shit about anything. Why are Isshin and Ryuuken even there? To make a delivery and just watch? Remember Nel? She didn't do shit. Everyone needs to pitch in in the final chapter but to do that the chapter has to be a long one.

Kubo doesn't have the balls to do the whole Aizen Bankai thing.

But I would buy every volume if he does that.

Guess this may just confirm Aizen only has a Shikai.

I mean the only time he has indicated he had Bankai was back in the SS arc, but that was under hypnosis and a water bankai.

Aizen will probably have his Bankai revealed in a data book Kubo will release sometime down to road to try and milk the last few $s out of the Bleach name.

Wasn't a Bankai kinda required for being a captain? Kempachi the exception because he was crazy strong?

Its basically this, Aizen hypnotized everyone since people thought he had a water zanpaktou that had Shikai and Bankai before hand.

No one ever knew his true powers.

I don't think Bleach will get any extra pages or something

here is all the info I could find on it

Nisekoi needs the pages cause Komi knew how to plan properly, so he gets the special treatment. He'll put it to good use.

Give Kubo extra pages and you will have 12 pages of pure white and 12 pages of pure black for the final chapter, and the final page just saying "The Heart at The End" or some artsy fartsy none sense he's found of.

Bleach didn't deserve this.

In hindsight, he should have ended it at the end of the Arrancar arc. As much problems that arc had towards the end, the final chapter with Ichigo and Rukia's farewell was really well done.

Everything afterwards could have been skipped.

Stopped just before 700. It just needed one month to reach it.

With Turn Back the Pendulum chapters and some couple more negative chapters, it will end at exactly 700. Leads me to think that this was always the plan.

Crazy, I know, that Kubo would decide to end it here, but it's Kubo.

Either that or when Ichigo gets back his powers. Studio Pierrot did it fine ending the anime after the Fullbring arc finished.

Don't know, aside from Turn Back, which I did take into account for a total of 697 chapters, I don't know which were real ones:

88.5. "Karakura Superheroes"
0.8. "A Wonderful Error"
-17. "Prelude for the Straying Stars"
0. "Side-A The Sand"
0. "Side-B The Rotator"
Special: "Bleach on the Beach"
-16. "Dying in the Ice Fields"
520.5. "walk under two letters"

It really is. I feel kinda bad for Kubo. He seemed to have wanted to do a lot more but he overstayed his welcome and was forced to just end it as quickly as possible.

He should have put more effort into resolving shit in the 4 years he got for this arc.

He had enough time, he dragged that shit oooooouuuuuuuuuuuuut till the readership numbers just completely died.

If he wanted a good ending he should have cut the filler shit and told the story he wanted instead of the constant bitching out.

As much as I loved Tuskishima's mind fuckery, the Fullbringer arc shouldn't have happned. Though I will agree that the final episode for he anime was really well done, especially the resolution and where it left off.

Stil couldn't justify the nonsense that happned.

Chapter -17 and -16, as well as -12.5, "Blooming Under a Cold Moon". Added to TBTP, that's 15 extra chapters.

Thanos acquires the fully powered Infinity Gauntlet in The Avengers: Infinity War, but loses when all the superheroes team up together to stop him.
The Fullbringer arc could have easily been an entirely new series.

End of an Era. In as much as I'm glad the series is ending, I'm kinda sad. Thanks for the Soul Society Rescue Arc, Kubo.

Fixed.

Also, I really hope we get a much nicer wrap up in whatever anime comes into being down the line.

Perhaps some re-writes may be in order.

I really don't see much incentive for any studio to revisit Bleach, rewrites or no. The series is largely seen as an also-ran and/or a laughing stock, depending on who you ask.

2 more chapters huh? Man the ending for this is gonna be rushed and terrible, but then again I'm not really surprised since both the current arc and Fullbringer arc were pretty fucking bad, it's no surprise the ending will be just as bad. Seriously Kubo, should have ended this shit after the Arrancar arc. I will miss this series, but honestly I happy to see this shit finally end,

lol

I said this on the Manga thread but I'll post it here
Kubo had time to fix it up with this arc but he wasted so many chapters with useless fluff

You can still rush it and be enjoyable

example Toriko is being rushed extremely hard.... more so then Bleach since we skipped 5 arcs and are rushing through two arcs at the same time as a final arc and yet by cutting out (sadly good things since Toriko's balance is well) Mitsutoshi is still able to put detail in important things and cover a ton of stuff all be it he skipped a ton of others

Bleach was on it's final arc for how long now and instead of optimizing it like Gintama we got some stretched nonsense while Naruto ended, etc....
dude had some time to have a organized ending

he wasted it with silly chapters and panels of pure white and black waste

How long ago was it that he hinted that the series was about to end

waaaaaaaaaaay to long (like 4 years or something)

I am Korean.
All they really need to do is have Bach die and Aizen take over as Soul King. That basically wraps up the biggest power struggle.

Then Aizen rebuilds SS and everyone does their bankais to help fuel his efforts.

BAM. All loose threads tied up.

Oh, and Ichigo stands around.

Get Inside Her!
Remember when Kyouraku showed up in the real world to tell Ichigo's friends that Ichigo would probably never be able to come back to the real world because he was too powerful or something? I wonder if that'll be resolved in these next two chapters!

a aha

Man, that's sad. One chance to end it all this arc and all was wasted in dragged fights against the quirky miniboss squad.

I still feel bittersweet about Bleach ending in two chapters lol.

Reminds me of Naruto ended, except with way more stuff that wont be explained and without the luxury of having more entries in the series to explain and expand upon.

I'm hoping Kubo will do a one-off book with everything that hasn't been explained in the series. Doubt it, but I'd like something in return for following this series for so long. :p

Oh hey, a villain was slain for once! Now Kubo just needs to address the thousands of unanswered plot points in the last chapter and we are done for.

Lol so the two main villains taken out in one chapter. This manga sucks but I can't stop reading it.
