Just watched the raw and the episode is so hype. The way Pikachu beat Aegislash was amazing, and the Greninja v Sceptile battle was amazing

Aren't all of Greninja's moves based on either sword or ninja techniques? I think that's why it has moves like Cut and Aerial Ace, since their names in Japanese are something different.
Neat episode, animation was great. However I do have a few issues:
We obviously knew it was going to get down to Greninja vs Sceptile, but it's a bit annoying because both battles in the finals are going to end in the same "heated super-Greninja" finale, which is kinda boring.
Most of the battle (especially the second part, and more specifically the Greninja vs Sceptile one) did not feel like a Pokemon battle. It felt like a more typical shounen battle, which doesn't have to be a bad thing, but usually a Pokemon battle is slower and involves typing, abilities and various trickery. In other words, more like a YuGiOh fight than Naruto one.
The last fight in particular was one where the two fighters were just darting around fighting with little strategy involved, which I thought was a bit of a shame. It even took the shounen-fight formula to heart when they did not take their Final Form from the start.

Another fight that solidifies Grenjnja as the greatest Pokemon ever. Also I want a action figure of shota/sawyer. Really like that character.

for him Cut is now stylized as water kunais (makes you wonder if it's water type now) and Aerial Ace despite being a samurai slice technique is treated more as a taijutsu for Greninja.
