Now only the following titles remain from the original announcement:

Sooo... it's a pretty safe bet that we'll see these releases in EU soon:
Final Fight
Final Fight 2
Final Fight 3
The Legend of the Mystic Ninja
Super Castlevania IV
Super Ghouls ’n Ghosts

Or you just get SSF4 for 8€, that's the one with (even online) multiplayer.

Myself, and I'm looking at the Mega Men and Sadame.

I've already got it :D
There no way I can pass up the original releases though.
Alpha 3 is my favourite fighter ever, a portable Alpha 2 is a must!
I don't mind the lack of multiplayer on these SNES VC releases, I don't know anybody else with a 3DS anyway :(

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy (CAPCOM) - €14.99/£12.49 (Ends August 25, normally €29.99/£24.99)
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies (CAPCOM) - €9.99/£7.99 (Ends August 25, normally €24.99/£19.99)

I think I will buy both Phoenix Wright games for the 3DS. That is a very good price.

Right now I can only see the old price on the nintendo website. When will the sales go live?

The AA Trilogy on 3DS is fine, right? I remember people were complaining about it, but that's probably just nitpicking?

There are several heavily discounted games on 3DS in EU that gives some golden coins.
Bought a Jewel Quest game on sale for £1.00 which gave me 20 gold coins, since regular price is £10.79.

EU eShop always updates on Thursday at 3pm mainland, 2pm UK time. None of these games/deals are live until that time.

General Disclaimer: I am not angry, there is no horse, please don't be offended.

Thanks! I bought a 3DS just a month ago, so I'm still learning how Nintendo digital sales work.

By the way, are sales for triple-A games common for Nintendo? There are a lot of €45 games that I'm interested in (Animal Crossing or Mario 3D Land), but I'm not really in a rush, so I should probably wait for lower prices.

You mean Nintendo's own games? No. Don't hold your breath.

I see. At least I managed to buy A Link Between Worlds for €20 because it was in the Nintendo Selects collection. Maybe they will add some more titles to that selecton in the future.

They usually only get discounted at retail, though Animal Crossing New Leaf and Mario 3D Land are some of the few Nintendo games which don't even get huge discounts at retail.

Yea. buybuybuybuy!

Calm down. So much enthusiasm annoys me. 🌚

It's rumored per the big Trev leak earlier in the year that in NA we are getting another line of 3DS Nintendo Selects and price cuts for 3DS HW later in the year, so perhaps EU will get more 3DS Selects as well. Otherwise, sales on first party games digitally in EU and NA tend to happen ~3x per year, and it's anyone's guess when they will occur and how many games will be on sale. On the bright side, My Nintendo discount coupons help provide a 15-30% discount on many first party games.

I'm super salty that MMX isn't out yet in the US. Especially salty that X2/X3 is coming to EU this week already too.

Those two in particular had discounts through the bonus program. Other than that, your best bet is a Nintendo Selects release in autumn.

By the way, I don't know where you're located, but maybe you can use this 3-for50€ offer:
https://www.amazon.de/b/ref=lp_4551...1&ie=UTF8&smid=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF&node=4551751031

Those people are morons, it's a great collection on 3DS. Buy it a high price!!!

Caring about games being presented as originally intended = you're a moron.
For me the extreme image cropping present in every single frame of all three games amounts to more than a 'nitpick' but YMMV of course.
Having played the original games multiple times I found it very apparent, distracting and ultimately disappointing.

I don't mind the cropping, but the amazing sprite work being replaced by that terrible drawn art is what annoys me. It looks so bland...

Basically: The 3DS trilogy is the best version of the "HD" ports on phones, and fixes a lot of their issues, but the individual DS games (and their Wii ports) still have the advantage in terms of polish. However, the 3DS collection of easier and cheaper to get, and fixes the egregious problems of the phone versions, and I definitely recommend it. Well, unless you're willing to go hunt down all 3 DS installments and pay the premium for them. Or play it on a Wii.

Nintendo Land part of the new Selects line in NA, maybe it'll go back on the eShop now!

They lost a lot of money by taking it off the eshop, I still dont know why they did it, a lot of people got WiiU's refurbished and it didnt come with Nintendo Land

Considering its "free" to them to list it, why not try and make a few bucks from the folks willing to double dip?

But I don't know if there is a lot of us.

So I'm getting

Resident Evil Revelations
Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies
11 MSL games

in the upcoming sale. Anything else?

I'm still convinced that it was unintentional. The press release right before that happened said that the eShop version was supposed to drop in price, too.

Sorry, I know this isn't the thread for these things, but I was going through my e-mail and found that I got a fire emblem fates home menu theme from amazon.de for pre-ordering the game. Since I'm in the UK, I wanted to know if the theme is region locked & if there's a way to check if it's still valid. Thanks!

For me it's:

Mega Man Legacy Collection
Mega Man X2
Mega Man X3
Resident Evil Revelations
Return to PopoloCrois
11 MSL games

PopoloCrois looks really charming and has a whiff of Fantasy Life to it if you fancy an RPG...?

Tadpole Treble is coming to Wii U eShop on Thursday. Here's some footage from three of the game's stages: https://youtu.be/WJZNs6hoP7A

It's actually a pretty neat music game. Decent amount of challenge to it. The music is solid. May scratch that Rhythm Heaven Fever itch for people.

the word you're using is the answer. it's region lock, not country lock. so your code from Germany works in UK because it's the same region :D

All eShop/download codes are EU-wide. Only exception is software that isn't available in the store you want to cash it in of course since even a download code can't make it appear.

I believe it expired on 30/6. Only way to check if it's still valid is to try it. I had a terrible experience with the NOE customer service trying to find out why my code didn't work anymore when redeeming it in July (neither Amazon nor Nintendo knew that it could expire).

It's also made by the guy who made the Brawl in the Family comic series, which was really good (though it's rather expensive to get the entire series in book form, which bums me out since I can't really afford them). Neat to see after all this time, it's finally coming out. Really hope the game turns out good & sells well because BttF was one of those rare comics that actually was really funny while being appropriate for all ages, which I find rather difficult because "all ages" tends to equal "well, it's appropriate for everyone, but only kids under 10 will actually like it."

I've got a £15 voucher off eBay when spending over £30 and I am interested in getting one of the following games for my new 2DS as they all appear to hold their price quite well:

Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright (£33.99)
Bravely Default (£30.85)
Fire Emblem Awakening (£32.99) or Birthright (£30.85)

Have any of these games been on sale in the UK eShop or had major sales elsewhere? Any recommendations?

Pretty sure Birthright/Conquest have been around ~£20 from The Game Collection previously, but aside from the big E3 sales/promotional sales when the sequels were released on the eShop, the games above are all pretty steady in price, if not going up.

DS isn't the original version of those games though.
