OH!!!

That Humble Bundle has the King's Quest Collection in there all the way up to 7! Finally I can throw out those old SCI versions and their patches. There is apparently a problem with 7th one though which needs some work around for Windows 10

Just checked in Google play store and it's available there too

nope, not available yet for some reason, you can only add it to wishlist, so it'll be in the future.
So far it's only on itunes, Amazon and PSN. Thanks for nothing, netflix!

edited: SE totally should have released it on steam
but that makes too much sense, doesn't it?

Horray for regional restrictions within Europe :/

I need to refund Dota2. Too much money sank into that game.

Also, a new hero was released last week, and I have already clocked 35 hours playing that hero only. Help!

Edit: The raptor game can be added to your account.

Played the first 2 chapters of Turing Test. Maybe the first time I'm thought to myself, "hm, this game might be neat in VR."

Definite heavy Portal vibes but I am very intrigued by the story. Hopefully it holds up.

One little mechanical gripe (has nothing to do with the story, but I'll spoiler it anyway)

If you take a second box out of the dispenser, the first just pops out of existence. There is no story reason for this to happen and they don't even bother making an effect.

Mine is pretty and pink
I looked thorugh my old posts and found one where I drew comparisons metween sean Murray and Peter Molynoux in a steam thread and Grief told me that the comparisons wasn't apt because of Sean showing everything he said the game was.

Sad that I ended up being right on that one.

Dammmn, this bundle is sweet!

Edit: Looks like they got my number real good. I already owned both Space Quest Collection and King's Quest collect. Eh, screw it. In for the top tier.

Wow, this Sierra bundle really takes me back. I never had my own PC until college but I had friends in school that had them and I remember playing some of these old games as a kid. Quest for Glory used to be called Hero's Quest back then.

Now all they need to do is add Leisure Suit Larry and this thing would be perfect.

That's a pretty sweet bundle!
Might want to play KQ6 again in particular. I have fond memories of playing that on the Amiga 500. This time around I should be able to beat it much quicker, though, mainly because I wont have to sit through multiple minute-long floppy swap-sessions at almost every scene transition. Thank gods for high speed, high density data storage.

It sure was -- I still have my boxed copy with that title!

Far from it -- Sierra (later to include Dynamix and Coktel Vision) had a fair number of good or great one-off (or two-off) titles as well.

Can anybody recommend any USB cables? There's just too many out there.

For what you're going to use it? Charging controllers/phones, external devices etc. just go with the cheapest, brand doesn't really matter like said above, but if you're planning to use it with controller then get one with braided cable, lot more flexible to use and the cable doesn't constantly fight you back.

Played 3 chapters of Turing Test. Seems pretty okay, but not sure about the story just yet. It seems pretty obvious what's going on, but I'm not counting out that they might surprise me yet.

Killer is Dead is on sale for $5. I have been a big fan of past SUDA 51 games, I will probably give it a shot. Has anyone here played it before?

When is the next big Steam sale? October for Halloween? I ended up missing out on Dragon's Dogma due to budget. I am dying to replay that masterpiece, but I just can't justify paying full price for it a third time.

I liked it a lot myself. The right concentrations of weirdness along with pleasantly challenging gameplay do the trick. You might want to read up on the combat system though — it's not explained well in the game itself.

I liked Killer is Dead too, and I played that on PS3 where it had like sub-30fps and LOTS of screen tearing, one day I'll revisit it on PC.

Disappointed at myself for not giving DOOM (2016) a chance earlier, I've now played the first 3 levels on Ultra-Violence and loving it! Nightmare was little too hard but I feel like Ultra-Violence is nice balance between hard and punishing, for novices like myself at least.

How is the controller support for kingdoms of amalur? I've never played it and it looks really good to me. Also ill the full pack worth it? Or should I just get the base game?

Controller support is good.

I'd get the full pack, the DLCs are actually fairly good. Main game kinda drags enough that you might not feel too compelled to see them though.

Has anyone here ever used alternatives to the Steam mobile authenticator? I was looking into whether using that Bluestacks Android emulator would be possible and I found out about another program called WinAuth. Are either of those methods frowned upon by Valve? Could you get in trouble for using them beyond the obvious security risks that come with circumventing the authenticator?

I'm wondering because I'm sitting on a lot of cards right now, thanks in part to the idling glitch, but I don't have access to a smartphone. So, selling them is kind of impossible but I'd really like to put that card money towards either God Eater or Attack on Titan.

With no announcement at all? Man, that's a terrible thing to do.

Wonder if they'll be doing any currency refunds for people that bought into it....

I don't even see it on Steam anymore.
