When I first saw it I had to rewind the video because I thought there was a new type being introduced. What a dumb ass name.

I thought the same thing. I was confused when the "Normal" Type box showed up without a name to go with it. I can deal with the name, though. It sounds like Type:Null is a manmade Legendary with only one goal in mind, so it sounds about right that it's name sounds like a science experiment.

UB-01 is the one confusing me, though. I mean, are they Legendaries? Are they one of a kind? Can you even catch them, or are they like the Marowak Ghost in RGBY?

It sounds like it may be part human based on that description, so people calling Team Skull as being a lesser threat may be on the money. This suggests scientists are involved, not extras in an Early 00's Rap-Rock video. So about that Aether Foundation...

Yes. Probably for storyreasons though. I mean, Sun has a Sun legendary and Moon has a Moon legendary Pokémon. They're most likely the cause of the permanent sun/dark thingy going on.

No. The time is shifted by 12 hours if you're playing Pokemon Moon. If you play Sun it will be like past games but if you play Moon then night will be day and vice versa.

But Porygon is a play on polygon (because both are computer related). Type: Null is a shitty ass name. Like, really? It looks cool and the idea that it seems to be a chimera created to rival the power of legendary/mythic pokémon is cool but that name is terrible.

That's the point. It was an experiment created as a weapon. The name is supposed to act as cold and sterile contrast to natural Pokemon.

OH MY YES. I was hoping they'd do something for Missingnos transferred from RBY, but assumed there's just be an error message. But literally everything about this Aether Foundation makes it look like they deal in otherworldly/foreign Pokèmon. And Missingno happens to be both!

I imagine that it's a desire to keep it brief and easily digestible. They want this shit to go as viral as it can, and short videos have an easier time doing that then 5+ minute ones. So by the JPN trailer, Type:Null is an artificial Pokémon created to fight mythical Pokémon and belongs to the new Team Skull guy (probably related to the Aether girl and the Porefessor assistant).

Ultra Beasts aren't Pokémon at all, since they are a hazard for both Pokémon and Human from another dimension... WTF this game.
