Surprising no one ever, but it's still much appreicated. When I first read the manga I only read murata's version and he was only up to Sea King at the time, meaning only a handful of the first season was new material for me. I think I will continue my blind status so that I can enjoy the second season that much more~

wtf are they going to adapt? The next "big" story arc of the manga isn't even close to being done last time I checked. Are they going to do some anime only stuff or shoot straight for the webcomic?

YES!!!... Now comes the question, what season arc will display, the original one (webcomic) or the Murata's redraw?

well considering production has just been announced, by the time this airs murata version would probably have finished the next big arc

If they are just starting, I'd say spring 2017 is the earliest we are getting this, but that might be too generous.

Need more details first.

This is pretty weird. The manga frankly doesn't have that much material left to adapt and it hasn't been too great lately. I was expecting a few more years at best for another season.

Hopefully they cut out a lot of the stuff that's been dragging down the manga.

You guys know that Murata's version is a graphical adaptation of ONE's work, right? This is known? ONE has put out WAY more material than Murata has redrawn.

Yeah and I've read it. The anime is based off the Murata version. I imagine that's pretty important since the Murata version has had a lot of changes to the season 2 stuff compared to the original webcomic.

If it's 12 episodes, I believe the Murata version will have enough content.

*Edit* ^ Oh, alright.

I'll just say this. It'll end at the start of a Murata version exclusive arc or in the middle of said arc.

This season will probably end at the start of the Martial Arts Tournament or maybe after the conclusion of Garou vs Metal Bat.

Season 2 will be pretty disappointing if that's all we're getting.

Murata is actually working with Madhouse on some of their pre-production, I believe, so even if it extends past Murata's redraw, they'll be fine. I mean, they would've been fine anyway. Mob Psycho 100. Murata is not do-or-die for the series, but he's definitely fucking awesome to have.

It will need to finish the next arc if it's gonna come close to the first season. No other way it'll end satisfyingly.
