Yakuza 0 shows "PS4 Console Exclusive". Coming to PC? (Nah)

Honestly, I hope it's true. The series deserves and needs more attention.

If it's successful on Steam, the chances of we getting both Kiwami and Y6 increase by a lot.
Also, they will probably work to get those games out in a closer date to the japanese release if possible.

As many people need to play this as possible. I really hope this is true, even if I'd still get it for PS4.

Now if it's true and the mod scene takes off, I may have to double-dip...

Bit hard to make out, but it says "PS4 Console Exclusive" under the Yakuza 0 logo there as well.

A Sega published game? Who would have thought? There is no precedent!

Jokes aside, it would be a good business decision to release it on PC. This serie needs all the sales that it can possibly get...

We usually pour over these things because Playstation conferences tend to be glorified PC conferences at this point and we missed that.

Note: Nioh was announced as a PS4 console exclusive as well.

Eh, the whole "Console Exclusive" "Exclusive" thing is confusing as fuck. Im pretty sure Ni-Oh also was Console Exclusive at PSX, but was just "Exclusive" at anything after PSX. All there's to do is wait and see what happens.

I'm glad. Outside of first party-developed and funded titles, there's no reasonable justification for an eighth gen home console title to stay exclusive to any one platform/family of platforms.
I say this as someone ready to pick up Persona 5 and Gravity Rush 2, mind.

KOFXIV, Ni-Oh and Yakuza 0 were announced as PS4 Console Exclusive at PSX 2015.

Simply assume they are all coming to PC.

I was expecting half a page of 'that' quote after seeing it. Why do people still think that way.

Anyways, would be great if it came to PC. A game on PC means you can pretty much play it going forward and not worry about BC for the next system.

Yeah I remember the GAF thread for the announcement pointing this out as well.

Yeah I recall most people in the prior threads saying that this was "mislabeled" again, as well as Ni No Kuni 2 which had the same banners. I guess we'll see about both soon enough

PC seems like it's doing well for Sega, so why not?

Hoping that we get a port of 1+2 HD somewhere down the road; I'm dying to play this series but I can't bring myself to jump on in the middle.

Damn, if the specs are low enough on these I'll double dip for a Vita-esque experience.

I think there's a higher chance of Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2.

Wow that sticker is terrible. Why can't they use the ps4 exclusive? We PC folks don't care about no stinking stickers as long as the games release on PC. And I don't think anyone would care tbh.

Fingers crossed and hopefully this will only be the start, would really love ports of the previous games since they really need a frame-rate/IQ upgrade. They'd benefit much more than Y0, though it would make sense to start with 0 and then port the rest in chronological order.
Please Sega, you can do it!

Because that would be false advertising? The current sticker is as disingeous as they can get without risking a lawsuit

I actually do think it will come to PC. Sony had to pay for Yakuza 5 to come over, but SEGA's fully publishing this one. The sudden change of heart, to me, suggests that SEGA have found another way of making the localisation work profitable -- which would mean PC.

EDIT: To add, I think it's a good thing if it means we can get these games brought overseas more regularly. Yakuza 6 looks amazing, and if it takes a PC version to get it out in the West, then do what you've got to do. It was ropey for a few years while we waited for Yakuza 5.

That'll be the day they have dual audio and simultaneous worldwide releases, too.

On topic: I wouldn't read too much into a label, but Yakuza is one series that would definitely benefit from more exposure.

But didn't we get those stickers last gen even if it was coming to PC? Did any of them got sued or something? The stickers sounds terrible.
