Yooooo multiple battle boxes and rental teams?
Looks like isle evelup (lol) is a replacement daycare that also lets you choose what stats get passively raised too...

Same, but people will take anything and not allow criticism over something they love.
What criticism? All I hear is whining cries over a huge feature.
And I thought people hated when Pokemon took stuff out in future games. :p

Honestly if you line it up with the anime, The Battle Bond here doesn't make much sense.

It's supposed to be a comeback mechanic not a momentum one.

So, Festival Plaza is what happens when PSS takes a page out of Entralink. Love it!

I'm guessing it's not quite as extensive as Entralink, and possibly less interactive, but it still looks fantastic. This whole "micro-MMO" environment is something Game Freak has been expanding ever since Gen 4 (Gen 3 if you count Union Room). I like their approach. This is exactly where Pokémon's communication features should head to.

I don't know why they create these amazingly detailed or unique and built up concepts and Pokedex entries if it never actually affects the game in any way. They should just put a little caveat at the end of entry with an asterisk and "None of this matters at all" next to it. I dunno if I'd consider it good world-building.

Yeah, the only evolution I like is Brionne.
Looks really majestic.

Torracat and especially Dartrix are horrendous.

The issue there is the head crest though. It'd basically need to go back to his first form's, rather than continuing developing or just stay the same.

The Chespin line kind of did this. I think that Chesnaught looks more similar to Chespin than Quilladin.

Looking at the Pelago image, there's one island we didn't see.

The top one is the one they find items. The top left is the one with the beans where new pokemon appear. The top right is a berry farm. The bottom left is the training one. The bottom right we didn't see. I wonder what they could put there.

Ash-Greninja has powered up thanks to the strength of its bonds with Ash. This is the form Greninja takes when it has gained new power due to the miraculous occurrence known as the bond phenomenon. This can be brought on by the bonds between people and Pokémon. It seems that it has only known to have occurred once—several hundred years ago.

I'm surprised they didn't rework its lore. With the way this is phrased, it sounds like Ash-Greninja may be non-existent in the game canon. Unless the demo surprises us in some way.

In a sense, it seems that this form is indeed an "anime-only" thing... Except it also exists in the games mechanically. :p

Ash-Greninja has the best final starter design since Empoleon. Too bad they called it Ash-Greninja... that's quite silly. Delphox for sure needs a similar evolution considering how badly they messed up it's design. Braixen was so awesome

The grass and fire mid-evo look cool. The water one is meh, but at least the final evolution looks cool.

I wonder if megas for alolan forms will exist?
Assuming that the focus of megas is still mainly gen 1 pokemon.

Hmm, I like all three of the middle forms, but Dartrix is my favorite. Brionne is the cutest though.

And why October 18th just release it now damnit.

I seriously don't get why they didn't call it Bond Greninja or something, directly referencing Ash just weirds me out

I'm still liking Litten. I've also heard rumors that this gen will do something very different: Have different final evolutions for the starters depending on the version of the game.
