Where are all the Mythical Pokemon? Magearna is one and I think Marshadow may be the 2nd because it strikes me as the Mew/Celebi/Jiraxhi,etc of this generation. Will this gen be shorter than XY?
I feel like we might get a new gen in 2 years if that NX rumor is true....
Marshadow seems to be this gens third major legendary alongside Lunala and Solgaleo.
Mythicals are probably not in the data.
Or GF considers the UB's to count as part of this gen's legendary pokemon.
I like almost all Pokemon designs but Alolan Persian looks like it was deliberately designed to be god awful.

My conclusion is that these are the Pokémon in the Alola Region Pokédex and the game, at this time, doesn't have a National Pokédex option.
Demo's up in Europe, downloading at the moment
Still isn't up in the UK.
The more I think about the yeti crab the more I love it. Assuming it's an evo for Crabrawler then it's basically a retired championship boxer going on to coach the next generation of fighters. It's basically the Doc Louis Pokemon.
lol, 96 new mons is literally single digits off of gen 2 numbers and people are still having meltdowns.
Think about how massively bloated the dex is already and how daunting it is for newcomers. Think about how this franchise needs to last another 10 years at the very least. Put a fucking rational thought in your brain before demanding 150 new Pokemon every few years pls.
if it's fighting/ice, it's going on my team.
Yeah, 96 new mons if you include Diglett with a strand of hair an Dugtrio with a wig. Those are definitely new Pokemon.

I really hope it is. I;ve used an ice type in every gen so it would really suck if I had to break that trend.
If they have new stats, types and move pools, and also stay like that permenantly and are not catchable like that in game then they are new Pokemon. What is a Pokemon except an avatar for stats and moves?
Pokedex entry. If the game's not gunna count me catching it as one more caught why should I?
You talk about being rational, but a newcomer isn't going to find 96 any less ludicrous than 150lol, 96 new mons is literally single digits off of gen 2 numbers and people are still having meltdowns.

It's no less worthless than baby Pokemon. Gamefreak has being doing filler since the beginning.
You do realize that 99% of the people that play Pokemon couldn;t care less about stats and movepools, right.
Because there is more to the game than filling up the Pokedex? And I say this as someone who loves completing the Pokedex. If I play through the game and use both normal and Alolan Ninetales on the same team with them playing completely differently then they're as good as new Pokemon for me.
So 99% of people who play Pokemon don't do any battles or actually use any Pokemon? All they care about is Pokedex entries?
Right. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is where we stand:
#789: Lunala Pre-Evo
#790: Solgaleo Pre-Evo
Why do people keep saying 96 Pokemon with Alola forms? Shouldn't be 99? There's 81 New Pokemon (Including Ultra Beasts) and 18 Alola Forms.
We'll see what happens, but I sort of expect that these are story event things, rather than actual Pokemon.
If I were to guess, they'd be sort of the combination of the ghost from Gen 1 and the orbs from Gen 5 - like you follow them around the final dungeon and can show up in battle, but can't be damaged or caught.
And then they "evolve" to their legendary form when they reach the pillar of sun/moonlight at the end of the dungeon or whatever.

Babies were a great way to flesh out some Pokemon families to make them feel more complete. Some fo them weren't very good, but others like Mantyke or Budew felt like they should have been there from the point when that Pokemon family was introduced.
SHINY LUCHALITTEN IS JUSHIN THUNDER LIGER
Wait do we know the details on that pikachu wearing Ash's hats?
No, they care about what designs they like and that's it. If someone thinks Minior is cuter than Rockruff they're most likely going to use it even if it's worse in every single way.
Those little things don't strike me as Pokémon, they look to me more like Zygarde cell type. I don't think they're legendaries pre evos. Do they have sprite previews?
