Rewatching it, I thought that 3 minutes would never end.

So, theoretically, they could get a lot across tomorrow during those 3 minutes. As long as they're not awful.

Uh... Well honestly (if this is legit) I respectfully disagree.

There's certainly confirmation of a dock existing, but the handheld certainly has to have its own power port if it's going to actually be portable. Also this image does not show any clear attachment point. Keep in mind this is a devkit too, and the handheld portion certainly would require a lot of different input ports.

I couldn't see it having a console-style power port on it. And look at that form factor. It would be insane for a portable, and those ports just seem unnecessary for a portable, especially considering the necessary portions are ON the handheld portion (cartridge slot and headphone jack). I would assume that the power port for the portable connects on the front, sliding frontwards into the dock.

Blue circled area is a speaker, there's the same hole at the bottom right. So L/R speakers.

Also a light sensor? left of center on the bottom as well.

I wonder if I should actually preorder the console so I can have it day 1 by amazon. Maybe a day early. Yet i have to see it and the price.

I'm gonna have my finger ready as soon as pre-orders launch. I haven't bought a console at launch ever, only when I bought a 3DS and my Vita. So I feel like now is a good time to really jump in with Nintendo, but they have to impress me first.

According to the people who actually, legitimately have info, that's so that people don't see it as a "handheld with tv out" and rather a home gaming system that happens to be portable.

Don't think it will work though, we 2 savvy.

Seriously, I'm not even going to consider it a hybrid if the thing doesn't upclock itself in docked mode at minimum.

Again, this is a devkit. The form factor of the final device is going to be quite different. And with this devkit, when the portable has the actual processors the portable will need all of these ports.

I think it's all one integrated device for the dev kit.

Well the Eurogamer leak said that the portable portion of the devkit docks into the base unit. That certainly can change for the newer devkit iterations but I really don't see anything which looks like a dock in that picture.


Again we could also be discussing a fake here.


Edit: actually looking at it again I can see that being the connectable dock on the back of the device. Not terribly important either way, considering it might not be real and we see the final product in 11 hours.
