I think everyone should keep expectations very low here. You'll get a look at what the system looks like, and what it can do/what the gimmick is. I wouldn't expect software outside of Zelda, or some minigame thing. Three minutes is nothing.

Yep, and there will be a title card, and obviously the thing won't pop up on screen in the first second; they'll do a slow striptease. So it's going to be a glimpse and not much more, but it should be enough to at least tell us what NX is and does.

Hopefully the game reveals after will be just as eye opening.

I'm pretty sure we will see only the console with some if its features (detachable controllers etc.).
Not much in the vein of game footage though.

Nobody has high expectations. The expectations were set along time ago when Laura said we'll see the NX, the real name and BotW for NX.

To be fair, Nintendo revealed "specs" for the Wii U pretty early on. If they do it again this time, I wouldn't expect to see much about the processors aside from the vendor(s) and what line they come from.

Yeah, well I admit there must've been something done wrong when even big time video game enthusiasts weren't sure what that video was supposed to sell.

But I always wondered how can people not understand it. From what I remember it was clear as day that we were going to watch a video about their new console. Like, Reggie literally said it was "the controller for Wii U" when they first showed the picture of the controller. And before that they said Wii U is their new system.

I could maybe understand if it's about people who only saw that trailer and not the conference, but even people who saw the conference were confused.

Well that's the problem. The reveal video was posted on mainstream media channels, where it looked like nothing but a controller.

But even assuming that it was only intended for hardcore fans watching the conference, the video was targeted towards the casual audience, with some questionable showcase games like a carbon copy New Super Mario Bros sequel, Wii Sports, and a lame targeting minigame. That's why it was so badly received.

I do believe they've learned a lot from the entire Wii U experience so I can't wait to see what they bring tomorrow.

Too many legit sources are backing backing Eurogamer for us to not get a hybrid at this point. I wouldn't mind a regular home console, but the odds are stacked in favor of Eurogamer & Emily Rogers right now.

To be fair, people are acting like the Gamecube and every Nintendo console before it never happened. There's no "Nintendo" method of doing things that people think there is when it comes to this topic.
