I expected that meant only Zelda would be shown, and no other games, but maybe I was nust reading into it too much and she literally meant the exact launch lineup wouldn't be told but didn't intend to discount there being other games shown?

Because later she Retweeted from Tom Phillips:

"Expecting final name, portable form factor and new Mario game today - but it's only a sneak peek. Lots more time before March release. #NX"

So are we now expecting more than Zelda and possibly Mario to be shown?

But your opinion is the opposite of all the rumors.

I see what you're saying. To avoid poor battery life they have to underpower it. But the rumors are that it does have poor battery life. Which means that it's likely not underpowered.

It's like you see "poor battery life, hybrid" and instead of drawing the logical conclusion of "oh it has poor battery life because it's a full console in a handheld" you went the other way and went "nah that can't be right it'll be underpowered and have good battery life." But the rumor is specifically that it has poor battery life.

Ok off to bed for real now, ultimately we'all have a much better idea of things in like three hours x__x

It's just me assuming that Nintendo wouldn't want to have their console have poor battery life (because they haven't in the past and poor battery life for a mobile device is a biiiig problem).

But battery life wouldn't be the only drawback with a "full console" in a hanheld form factor.
You'd also have something bulky, and that would require active cooling. So noisy and likely hot.

I think it will start by showing Zelda or a Super Mario 64 remake it will then pull out of a tv to show the console. They will then show how a person will use this in their daily life and how they can play on the go with the detachable controllers. Finally at the end they will show someone coming home and plugging it in to a docking station to reveal the name before fading to black with a message saying March 2017.

I'm going to buy NX with Zelda day 1. Launch line up is important for me. 3DS and Wii U line ups were garbage and I didn't buy both system on launch. Atleast Zelda will get me to be there day 1. I also don't currently own a Wii U if I did I'd just stick to playing Zelda on that if there in any other decent launch game.

Well, I don't imagine Mario will necessarily be a launch title. I imagine we'll get Zelda and then a couple smaller projects and maybe a Wii U remaster or two at launch but I could be shooting or the moon even with that. As long as releases are steady after I don't think Zelda being the focus at launch would hurt them too much, as long as the other titles from them and others at launch are sufficiently diverse.

Well, VD Dev should have one due to youtube reveal trailer initially listing the NX. I'm guess it must be Mixed Bag they have two exclusives on the New 3DS.
