I saw a screenshot in here a while back of someone with their library automatically categorized into genres and such, but can't remember any details. What's the best way to do that?

Depressurizer
That one hasn't been updated in couple of years but it still works just fine. There's a newer fork out there somewhere too, no idea about that.

Listening to the soundtrack sample from Owlboy that I got from preordering on Humble. WOW, the following songs blow me away:
Tropos (Day)
Tropos (Night)
Mesos

I'm from the future and SEGA released a new Sonic game on Steam. It has procedurally generated levels along with microtransactions, loot crate gambling, 40$ season pass, preorder bonus DLC and an early enlisters edition.

Enjoy it PC gamers. Its all yours.

A dream that came true

I will quit gaming forever and delete every game from my Steam list if this mod team makes Half-Life 3 as suggested several times in this thread: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1304011

I will also find a way to eliminate both my phone number and email so that the account can never be recovered either.

Steam Client Beta Update
31 OCTOBER - ALFRED
The client beta has just been updated with the following changes:

General
Updated web control to CEF v54.0.2840 . This version requires Windows 7 or macOS 10.9 and above, users on older OS versions will continue running the current version.
Fixed 3rd party mods showing the incorrect name in the friends list
Improved the error when trying to run a 64-bit game on a 32-bit OS

Controller
Added Steam Configurator support for PS4 Dual Shock Controller. Note that this is a beta release. Enable in Big Picture settings Add/Test Controller settings. When enabled, PS4 controllers will have access to the same sort of customization/configuration support as Steam Controllers, including native API support.
PS4 Controllers using this system can map the trackpad, gyro, buttons, etc. to keyboard, mouse, or x-input outputs and can make use of action sets, touch menus, radial menus, and so forth.
Added New Mode – Joystick Mouse. This is a joystick based mouse control useful for stick based controllers.
Added default PS4 templates.
Added software calibration for non-Steam controller based IMUs to counter for gyro drift.
Configuration Browser can now be toggled to show all available controller types rather than the default of the in-use controller type.
Configurations can now be marked as “Unique” to a specific controller. This configuration will only be applied to that controller for that user’s account. By default, all controllers of a specific type will share a configuration unless marked as Unique.
Big Picture now supports PS4 controller glyphs when using Steam Configurator support.

Streaming
Automatically restart Steam if it crashes while streaming a game
Added higher bandwidth options for 4K streaming

macOS
Fixed infinite hang in client when an assert fired on macOS 10.12

Linux
Fixed download validation issues with some filesystems
Improved disk write speeds

How is Rise of the Tomb Raider not the first game people suggest to new PC owners!

Civ VI looks great, Forza is silky smooth and Overwatch is basically the same across platforms but this is the first game to WOW me with my new tech.

Really can't wait to dig into this more but quick question - is DX12 good? Are higher end systems encouraged to use it when given the opportunity?

JESUS CHRIST I SHOULD HAVE TAPED MY LAST HOUR OF DEAD RISING IT WAS INTENSE AF I KILLED LIKE 700 ZOMBIES AND BEAT COUPLE OF BOSSES AND OPENED SECRET ROUTES AND FOUND AWESOME WEAPONS AND BARELY SURVIVED AND WHERE ARE MY SEDATIVES

It's not a particularly good game. A graphical showcase, but compared to its predecessor and even the games that influenced it (Uncharted etc.) it suffers heavily in the difficulty and set piece department. It's baby's first third-person shooter with a shitload of needless, optional padding.

My USB 3 ports show up in my UEFI view, but nothing is detected in them. What the fuck, I'm sick of everything going to shit with every Windows 10 update.

DX12 gave me slightly better frames on a R9 290x

Still can't run the game to where it looks amazing and runs good, so I have to settle for looking like a PS4 game and running good. Sucks.

You know when sometimes we talk about indie gems flying under the radar. Well, from what I have played of the demo, it seems to me that Volvox is one of them. I have found a mention of that game in a review of Stephen's Sausage Roll.

I have an ASrock Z77 Extreme 4, can't seem to update the USB drive very easily... Their site isn't very intuitive.

That's my board. I updated the the USB drivers like a madman, but I can't remember which ones I downloaded.

I had to purchase a powered USB 3.0 hub to stop my external hard drives (which have their own AC adapters) from disconnecting randomly. Although this is partly due to Seagate's USB bridges being total shit. One even started disconnecting after a brownout. Reminder- always plug your externals into a UPS.

i7 / 1070 - it looks better with DX12 off for me

but it runs like a dream - silky smooth with all settings turned up

I have 6 USB 3.0 ports that won't turn anything on... They were working yesterday. Trying to drain the power from my PC to see if that helps I guess.
You mean the site that fell out of 1991 and never recovered? It's terrible and needs a massive overhaul.
Yeah, that's the one. I want my damn ports up...

The lightbar is annoying as fuck turned on, especially if you sit close to your monitor. Even the PS4 OS lets you dim that shit.

Huh. Looks cool!

Some of the ports are Intel and others Asmedia, so you could try googling "Intel/Asmedia USB 3.0 drivers Extreme 4 Windows 10" etc.

(I have Win7, can't really help)

You sure about that? Just tried Assault Android Cactus and it detects both DualShock and XInput controller at the same time. :\

I'm sure about Dark Souls, not any other game. I wouldn't be surprised if Android has official DS4 support.
