Don't worry man...I couldn't beat Skillsmith Juri at all last night out of 4 matches. Match knowledge is probably the best recipe. Also no one truly completely sux in the game.

But to be fair I haven't really met a Gief I couldn't dominate or at least win consistently. I really think he's the weakest in the game, but it's so easy to make him too good.

Everything will be helpful since I have some severe execution issues and just general stuff that applies to all matchups. Stopped playing for today already though. Gotta get some rest and wash this salt away.

It's not a glitch and the description does make sense.

The challenge has nothing to do with the stage finishers.

It's the janitor in the background, have characters slam on the ground enough and he'll fall on the bucket.

Do you need to be online to do this, or is it like the Bustling Side Street where you could do it in local versus?

Just played Ixion, that Swedish Nash streamer and he hit me with every single V-Trigger setup. That's where most of his damage came from. Am I stupid or something? How do you actually block that? I though you just block the other way when he teleports behind you. I did that 4 times and he hit me every single time.

Guess it's time to watch it in slow motion...

Are they the setups where Nash throws a boom and then teleports behind you? I always get hit by those, and I think it's because you have to block the boom first sometimes and then change directions, but I could be super wrong.

In a lot of these cases the lag is the problem. You have to block cross up because in most cases he will not be able to get any damage besides the sonic boom if he doesn't cross up. You just have to react faster to it. Jumping forward can avoid the mix up but then he can use jump hk and juggle you after. I am not sure if something like a jump light button can counter that.

I am also a diamond nash in europe, we can play some time if you want.

I will take you up on that offer! Tested various Nash setups in training mode now and didn't really have problems blocking them. So weird.

It's been about 2 weeks for me too, last time was against Producer's nasty Chun. I can probably rock late night, like after 11 so will check in then. Feel so detached from SFV overall now. Most times I can at least get in some lab work but nah, teaching has sucked away any free time.
