First free DLC to drop for Titanfall 2 11/30

I hope that the game-twists thing helps them to fix nearly all of the modes. None of them are all that fun outside of Attrition right now.

Pretty much. I agree, I think they made the best decision.

Saying that, there is a currency system in game and people will be racking them up after unlocking a few items perm, so I think there should be something you can spend them on instead of letting the currency system go to waste and be pointless. If not loot boxes like I said then something else.

In addition to the free stuff, we will be opening a store in game with the launch of DLC #1 that will allow you to purchase new skins, camo and Prime Titans if you want for a modest price. We will have no in-game currency exchange. No locked loot boxes, crafting shards or pay-to-win weaponry. No RNG. If you see something you like, you buy it and that’s it. These in no way effect stats and are purely cosmetic. We will have two Prime Titans available at launch. They have new chassis and assassinations but function the exact same way as their original counterparts.

Will definitely pick up any of the DLC that looks good to show Respawn some support, and to support this way of doing things.

Maybe at that point make the microtransactions purchasable but cost A LOT of credits -- and make them only purchasable once everything else is unlocked that can be with credits as well as only available to gen 10 people. Of course, new stuff will always be added too. It's just a matter of how frequent new stuff is added.

I agree, I only said that cause people in the OT were complaining you couldn't buy them with credits and it kinda looked like this topic was heading in that direction too

I don't really give a shit about skins though.. I'll never buy any of them no matter how they are distributed or however much they may be. Only way I'll use them is if they're free and even then I'd probably just set one to active and never look at my skins page again.

Only one map is disappointing. The game needs more map variety pretty badly, there should be 2-3 maps per DLC drop, ideally.

Respawn and Titanfall I love you. Thank you for some free DLC. But when I actually see what happens with the price of the game, thats not really a postive sign. I hope that at least now many people will buy the game.

I'm sure it'll move some decent units with Black Friday sales, after all the good word of mouth it's had. It strikes me as a game that people may not have prioritized as a day one purchase over other games releasing in the same timeframe, but that they were interested in picking up soon enough once it got cheaper.

You can get the other big shooters for the same price right now.

Call of Duty ~25€
Battlefield 1 was 30€ last week :D

I actually want to buy them with credits too, lol, but only because I have nothing to do with my credits.... I don't actually care about skins.

Hope the Prime Titan skins are priced reasonably well. I gather, I'll be getting most of these as long as the price isn't too high.

This is how microtransaction should be implemented, and I'm supporting them with my wallet.

Oh man, I'm psyched! I thought Overwatch would be my GOTY, but I think this game may be starting to fill its spot. If FFXV doesn't win me over, then I think TF2 is definitely taking the throne for me. Initially, I just picked up the game because of all of the talk about the campaign - and now I'm staying for the multiplayer.

I hope everything is reasonably priced.

Let's not get crazy now lol. Overwatch is top tier. But I have to admit T2 is fighting for OW's attention nowadays :)

i got the fist game because of titanfall2 ( i never understood what people are saying about tf1 has superior maps and damn they are right) and people are still playing it. so no worries.
