Track one, two and three on the Suzy album are amazing.
Dunno why Reddy (who???) has to ruin one of those perfect songs with his shitty rapping, tho

The mini is so fucking good. I am in love all over again. It's not all like Miss A but there is some Miss A flavor on some of the tracks. It's all good, though. Mmmmmmmmm...

The mini is indeed fncking good. It's a little shocking actually.

I'm actually not surprised believe it or not.

Back when shit hit the fan, there were many indications among the cast that they didn't necessarily want it to end. But they wanted it to end out of spite for the dipshits running the show. Now that said dipshits are out, and the fact that the current head of SBS Ent is a RM alum, it probably wasn't too hard for them to convince the cast to come back.

More importantly, despite RM's shitty ratings, shitty episodes, and all the mess that was going on, the show still remained profitable. You'd have to be a really shitty businessman to can something that still makes money.

I decided to give Bolbbalgan4 a second try, and the track that got me hooked is "Grumpy"

Bolbbalgan4 - Grumpy

Second try?

I'm curious, what was the problem with them initially?

To be frank, I'm just tired of the seemingly dime a dozen indie artists that are created from those reality competition shows that once I found out they were from Superstar I glanced through their music without much of an effort.

I thought something must be different if GAF and even davidhwangchoi keeps mentioning them in this thread so I decided to give it a second try.

hey guys, never posted in this thread, wanted to say hi.

do you guys have a better source than k2nblog?

i actually dont want to download all the new stuff, i would love to have a youtube-channel /spotifiy-playlist which introduces me every new listed track with its correct name in a weekly list.

i mean every song released.

i stumpled upon CHEEZE 2014 and instantly fell in love with them. bought all cds...
and they announced last week that they are going to split up. what a bummer :(

Well they weren't created on the show, just competed there and didn't win.

Reddit's r/kpop has quite exhaustive monthly lists, and weekly kpop spotify updates

I think they've been doing pretty well lately, fun episodes every week now lately. The member week thing has been awesome so far.

My Nightmare CD arrived a couple days ago... can't wait for the poster. "Chase Me" has been my jam. The intro to that CD is super cool but way too short. Sounds like an Unreal Tournament stage or the intro to a Rammenstein song. The other song's lame.

Taeyeon has by far the most interesting SNS game among Korean entertainers that I know of. I wonder what's made her be more active, even after she's finished her 11:11 promotions.

This is just a fcknn tragedy. Height of their powers, more interesting than ever, off an unexpected national mega hit, super popular girl _band_ which does not really otherwise exist on top of Korean charts... gahh. You can't convince me JYP isn't partly to blame for this. Why would they give up something where they have this creative control _and_ financial success? No way they can get their individually.

Wonder Girls to disband, Yubin and Hyerim will re-sign with JYP

JYP Statement said:
Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.
I want to share with everyone the news about the disbandment of the Wonder Girls, who have been together the past 10 years.
It was a long discussion, but after continuously discussing with the company, Wonder Girls has decided to disband as a group.
Yubin and Hyerim have re-signed a contract with JYP Entertainment and will show off a new image through music, acting, and MCing
Yeeun and Sunmi have decided to leave the company after much thought because they feel like they want to create their own new paths with a new company.
The members will release a final digital single on February 10, which is the 10th anniversary of their debut, to thank the fans who have consistently been watching over them the past 10 years.
We, JYP Entertainment as well as the Wonder Girls, would like to thank the fans all over the world for the last 10 years, and we will continue to support each other in the future.

The worst thing is that they have splitted paths in the weirdest way possible. I could see Sunmi and Yeeun working as a duo, though. The other two... no idea what JYP plans to do with them... variety?

Edit: And definitely not looking forward people blaming Twice for this.

He's got some dirt on them.

In happier news, Hoody mix (and interview) for y'all to enjoy on Fader http://www.thefader.com/2017/01/25/fader-mix-hoody

She's reading my favorite author. Fandoms collide.

What's the last book you read that had a big impact on you? And why?

Jane Eyre. I had almost forgotten the value of this novel because it’s such a classic. I was re-enlightened when I read it again recently. Reading it again at this age, I was able to truly empathize with the novel and the various themes that explore what life is like as a women.

Sad day, RIP Wondergirls.

The hope they would all sign to a different agency was legit.
It's all about business and compromise, all the and JYP didn't agreed on terms, we don't no much more how the terms were between the members (apparently good) but such a waste...

Rip Wonder Girls. Y'all were such an amazing and influential group that made great music even towards the end :c

I think I'm gonna have a Wonder Girls marathon today ;___;

Ugh, my first kpop heartbreak. Of all the groups, though, I didn't expect this to happen to WG. They had such staying power in this oversaturated and fast-paced genre.

I hope their final song in February isn't slow

RIP WG.

I´m actually surprised Sunmi and Yeeun left JYP, i expected the opposite.

SM announces their last STATION project + Suho x Song Youngjoo's "Curtain" to be released on Feb.3

It's a shame it's the last release of Station, probably one of the best things SM has done, ever.
