even reading ND3 quotes is enough to make me wanna regret playing league.

I feel like games aren't really close like they were last season.

I either get the stumpy team or my fucking bot lane goes 2/16, mid Kat feeds the Karth and my JG kitty is 0/4 even when I'm shitting on my lane.

Feels like it's like that damn near 40/50% of the time. IDK why.

Btw, inhouse on Friday, same time as last week. Fixed my issues, and I'll be streaming on
www.twitch.tv/lordnewt if Costy isn't available.

Let me know if you guys prefer draft pick over blind, since some people wanted blind.

Bronze V promos

So... game one I did well enough myself, but our jungler focused too much on toplane for some odd reason, all while botlane fed like there was no tomorrow, and things went downhill from there.

Game two I laned against freaking Shaco, and he made laning phase impossible for me as Singed. But then things went to the late game and our MF did lots of awesome ults to help us clean up and get objectives, so by the end I was like 4/8/26.

Game three... well, there was no game three. I had to go through four random dodges while I was constantly shuffled between top and sup, and on the fifth lobby I got paired up with an adc who said he was awful at the game. I checked his past games and yup, he was often on the losing side with 10+ deaths. Not knowing any better, I dodged myself, ending my promo series.

Now I've won a game so I'm back in promos. Hopefully things work out better this time around...

Fuck, I just want a normals game to practice Susan in.

For some reason people wanna play the lane bully Croc (a champ I don't think I've ever beat in lane without Illaoi) that's gonna be a pain in my ass and teach me jack shit about this champ in the process.

just got hit with a crap jungler. They really do dictate the flow of the game. The enemy jungler isn't even that good ours is just shitty and keep dying. He was a Lee and you know what lee does when they hit their first Q even if the enemy is under tower right?

Guessing he does the same thing a Bronze Kha does when ganking a healthy Darius inside a fat minion wave half way through the lane as his Illaoi top is farming at tower.

Goes full Leeroy Jenkins.

Susan can beat out Croc with smart play.

Renektons main attacks are AoE, meaning you can let him push your lane, and then you can last hit+heal under your tower.

Honestly, that's what I would expect from every Bronze V ADC.

I wouldn't waste your time dodging.

Nah, he did that on other roles (mid, jg, you name it).

I know better than dodging promos now, though.

Good luck

Second promos attempt, I play with the adc and top who won last game with me (which got me back into promos)... and we get matched up against a P3 Kha (from soloq, of course) and four mid-silver players... top feeds, mid feeds, jg feeds, I feed...

Also, I've noticed you're doing flex. Don't waste your time with flex, focus on solo/duo. The matchmaking on flex is garbage.

Look at your last game.

Dodging promos isn't that bad.

Losing a promo game will lower your LP after a failed promo series by something like 18 LP, depending on your mmr. I'm unsure how dodges affect it, it's possible it's the regular 3 or 10 LP penalty.

If you go 3 straight losses in series you might end up at around 40-50 LP after promos, while if you go 2 straight losses and a dodge you might instead end up at around 60-70 LP or 50-60 LP.

In a 3-game promos where you go 1W1L and one dodge, you will probably end up with 90+ LP after the series.

Note that not every game with bad team comps/bad teammates makes for a loss, so it can be difficult to judge when it is correct to dodge. Sometimes you just get that feeling that your teammates combined with your comp makes for a near unwinnable game though.

Nah, I think that one was because we were a PUG 5man (and we all fed equally), and it did take almost 20 minutes for us to find a match. Most regular matches I play aren't ridiculous stomps like that.

Looking up my past games, most of the players there range from level 30s to low bronze. 5man probably messed things up, since it was really late and it's likely there just wasn't anyone else to pair us up with.

You're right, I ended up going Win-Loss-Dodge, and got back to 90 LP.

I played my second promo game (last one for tonight), and our top Shaco fed like mad... but then Jinx slowly picked up steam while mid Yas and Nocturne also started to play better. We probably would've lost, but the enemy team got a disgruntled Illaoi support that didn't even buy a support item, fed us like mad, and also flamed her teammates according to them.

That reminds me I'm glad I can support, since that means my team is very unlikely to get stuck with an autofilled sup player (as long as the rest of the team can accomodate me moving from top). Like, the game I won that got me to promos had an autofilled jungler, but I asked around and got our support to go jungle so that I could leave top to the autofilled player, and we did okay (but then we fed against those silver players).

I just played my first Susan normals/ practice game vs a Fiora, another champ I never win lane vs unless I'm playing Illaoi (Use to kick her ass as Trundle but my Trundle skills have turned to dust and IDK how that happened ...) .

We won ... I have to say ... I actually like him!! :O
Stacking is addicting! Like a game inside a game... and you can tell everyone to fuck off cause in their hearts they know that they want that raid boss late game.

went 4/0/10 with autofill jihn.

I was scared shitless because I suck at adc. but a few good ults allowed us to scale. plus they were all ad.

The best part of Lethality builds is that they destroy welfare tank builds

No Maokai, you don't get to be unkillable because you have a chain vest, a cinder and a fucking cowl anymore

Earlier power spikes sure feel great for that. It's much easier to translate your advantage bot since the adc won't need 3 items to be relevant.

I won my final game in bronze V promos, yay!

Laned against a Malphite, so I could basically zone him for days while not really fearing retaliation attacks. He did kill me two or three times throughout the whole match, but other than that he was all but locked out of playing toplane while I doubled him in CS. No lane pressure meant I could push to turret and counterjungle to my heart's content, forcing his teammates to eventually try and bother going top to make me retreat.

Meanwhile, the enemy adc was afking by a patch of grass, our mid and botlanes got fed. Even though our Yi was less than stellar, often going for rambo kill attempts that got him killed instead, we could apply enough map pressure to zone the remainder of the enemy team out of doing anything relevant while we got one objective after another and won the game relatively quickly.

Onwards to Bronze 4! I'm hoping I'll be able to climb to low silver eventually, but it'd also be nice if I got good enough to actually reach gold, since it'd be nice to get a victorious skin eventually.

And just yesterday Riot finished implementing somewhat standarized RP prices across LAS, which wasn't all that pretty. Paying with an international credit card as opposed to a local means of payment gave you more bang for your buck here (at least in Argentina), but at the same time it made sense since they charged your purchase in USD, which was going to go up between the time you make the purchase and when you're actually able to pay your CC bill.

Was going to charge at least 1K so that I could get a singed skin eventually (either the snowfall or the black plague one), but I ended up forgetting to do so before the price rise, so I guess I'll just wait for now. Here's to hoping custom sales come back soon, since getting sales on champs you play (or own? IDK) is a lot better than browsing the monthly skin sales list hoping to find something I actually want.
