It's really hard. Gets grindy near the end IMO to build a good party to take on the end dungeons. Awesome game though. I was not able to beat it but maybe I will go back one day.

Thank you, thought that was the case. Looking for more casual stuff for commutes, maybe at a later point.

They're both great. RotTR has more content, especially with all the extra stuff they added to 20th anniversary edition while Titanfall 2 has a short but sweet campaign with decent multiplayer. I guess it depends on if you will play multiplayer otherwise go with RotTR.
I'm not too big on MP, so RotTR would be it. Thanks for the reply!

Dang... It's a toss up between Rise of the Tomb Raider or Titanfall 2.. Any suggestions?
I'm debating buying both (along with Inside and Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition) and taking advantage of the get $15 back promo.

Total is $108, so I'd be paying $93.

The shooting in RoTTR has lag or some other shit. It's really off.
I wish there was a demo so people could try it out. It may not bother everyone, but it sure as hell bothered me. Just putting that out there.

And Odin Sphere is awesome. Personally I think it's the best Vanillaware game yet.
MLXL is also awesome and has a ton of content.
Deus Ex: MD is also really good. About as good as HR, but with not as good of a story.

There is a demo, I believe.

EA sale says it ends on a the 4th.. hmm

Edit: looks like the EA games end on different days. UFC ends the 7th while ME ends on the 4th.

There is a demo and the latency has been fixed. It plays great!

I have yet to play Diablo III despite all of the glowing recommendations. I might have to finally dive in on PS4.

So is Titanfall 2 still populated online on the PS4? Not just attrition or bounty hunt, I'm interested in CTF and the like. Apparently PC is pretty dead like TF1; attrition and bounty hunt is all that gets played.

Never played Persona, only got me a PS3. Where to start, P3 or P4?

P3 as a first impression is not ideal in 2017 because while it's an amazing game, it's missing a lot of the quality of life improvements the franchise has had over the past decade.

I'd honestly say either start with P4, or you can wait for P5 which comes out in just over a month.

So DIshonored 2 at that price is definitely worth it if Dishonored 1 was my top 5 games from last gen right?

Also I should probably finish the DLC before getting into D2?

I'm deciding between the witness and the Talos principle? Any recommendations, I'm leaning towards TTP simply because it looks more appealing to me.

Can confirm, Persona 3's party AI made me want to staple tapeworms on my penis.

If you must try Persona 3, go with Portable.

Otherwise, Persona 4 Golden.

EDIT: Oh, he only has a PS3. Uh, OK, try P3 FES if you dare then.

Atlus with the SICK lastgen sale. Would have bought Nocturne if it was on PS4.

Might grab Mirrors Edge though, can't go wrong for 10 bucks.

Anyone still putting time in on their PS3, I had a blast with NFS Most Wanted on the Wii U so for $2, don't hesitate.

Anyway, I'm not really familiar with most of the PSP stuff on sale. Any recommendations?

In a purely campaign point of view, which game is better; Battlefield 1 or Titanfall 2? I have not touched FPS shooters from the BF/COD department since Ghosts and I am actually interested again. They are both 30 now.

Titanfall 2 has the better campaign.

Haven't completed it myself but there have been a LOT of threads on GAF about how good TF2's campaign is.

There have been a staggering amount of comparisons to Half Life 2, plus the mechanics are just so fun to play around with.

It has terrible input lag. I played it on both Xbox and PS4 and both were just as bad.

Also, it would have been nice to add US to the title of this thread. There are some of us who exists outside of the US.

Finally bought The Witness.

Heard it's HDR is amazing and it seems to have less overlap with any other games I want.

Inside is very appealing but having just played Limbo recently I'm going to hold off for it to get even cheaper.

Dragon Age for 6 bucks. I mean, it can't be that bad, right? How would likely feel about this game if I love things like Souls, and dislike things like Witcher? Combat wise, I mean.

Comparisons to Half Life 2 you say? Hmmm...

It's the most enjoyable shooter campaign I remember playing in years. Stole my attention away from Doom even. If a great SP campaign is what you're into it's a good bet. Shortish, but it retires new gameplay ideas right before they start to overstay their welcome, almost Nintendoey.

It is 110% worth that.

So worth 11 whole dollars! Well hot dog! :p
