To be honest I do kinda wish campaign would be 30fps and really push the visuals, while multiplayer remained 60fps.
But I totally get why you guys want everything 60
That would be a cool Halo 6 ending. The odds are against humanity and they fail but over a couple of thousand years even Cortana can't make it work and Chief is released by future rebels to beat her into submission. Would be a neat end considering Spartans were made to fight rebels.

Halo 6 will be on PC so that's all irrelevant. We can have 60 FPS plus top visuals.

Stinkles i just read that Bonnie Ross said Halo stories will be simpler and less in depth. I think Halo 4's story is criminally underrated and judged and i really think that was the perfect balance. Would you say thats the route 343 is going? I did enjoy Halo 5's story i just didnt like the lack of Master Chief gameplay and i fear Halo turning in to "Master Chief kills everything" i mean i highly doubt that would happen, but can you make me feel better and say there will still be emotional attachment to these characters.....please
Can't wait to see a full Halo on PC/Scorpio, it's gonna be good. Halo 5 didn't look bad, but hopefully 6 will give us more visual options

I'll take gameplay over story. Doom 2016 had no story and was one of my favorite FPS campaigns in recent years. Halo CE is also pretty light on story. Give me open sandboxes to run around with more dynamic enemy encounters and I'll be happy.

Also, 5's story wasn't bad because there was too much story/too much going on. It was easy enough to follow, it just sucked. They certainly tried to set something up as well, so it was in satisfying as a standalone story. The game's plot need to be more self contained moving forward.

I am playing Doom now and i have had everyone tell me how amazing it is and i do like it, but i get tired of it pretty quick. I know there must be something wrong with me, but i cant play more than a couple missions every couple days. I have been comparing everything to Titanfall 2's campaign and i think its ruining all other FPS for me

Hmm, now I'm really getting excited. I am of the opinion that less is more.
Good, Halo 4's story was fine, the other aspects of it is what held it back.

Yep, this is pretty good for me. Halo 4 was pretty good aside from some parts that required having knowledge of the Forerunner trilogy in order to get properly invested. So if they can hit that balance of not needing to read the books but also using them as a bit of a backbone, I will be pleased.

Halo 5 MP is phenomenal, sure the story was kinda lackluster and very lore dense, specially if you followed the viral campaign. Can't wait what they do next with the added split screen component.
I feel like 343 has enough understanding of what makes Halo great and will be able to give us an all around fantastic Halo 6.

I think you still need Gold to play co-op though. My son and I have done it, but I have Gold anyways so I'm not sure if it would work without.Just gameshare.
Edit: Also, the split screen would be helpful again so I can play co-op with my kids without them playing in the basement... although that gives me a full screen to use, so maybe I'll just continue that way anyways.

I think you'd still need at least one xbox live subcription to use the online, I don't think Halo 5 support local LAN play

Halo 5s mp, is probably the best mp that I have ever played.
But I am sure that they just helped kill their game by refusing to region lock it, or give us some region selection options. My friends all dropped it after a week or so of constant high latency, US hosted games. They also totally ignored the waypoint mega threads. When they did finally act, the population was so low, they had no choice but to reverse it. Such a shame.
Give us proper BTB maps as well please in 6. Even if it is the Halo 4 BTB maps redone.

I beat every other one with a friend, but halo 5, and the MCC shitshow, killed the franchise for me.
They can do whatever they want with it. It's not for me anymore.
